Everything about it was good.
A sturdy mug at a fair price with a dog lover’s illustration. It was a real pleasure to give it.

Perfect mug for dog lovers
I purchased this dog mug made by Emma Bridgewater recently, not so much because it is a cute mug of a nice size (though it certainly is that), but mostly because it reminds me of the family dogs of my childhood up to the present day. This mug has eleven different dogs printed on it. Between them they represent 10 separate breeds (1 breed is pictured twice on the mug, but with a different breed standard). Of the 10 separate breeds shown on this mug, seven have been part of my immediate family over the years and the pictures used on this mug resemble (or resembled) our dogs so closely, even down to the coloring, it is almost uncanny. The quality is great on this mug - the design is nicely applied to the mug, the ceramic is smooth and the glazing is fine (no pinpoint areas were missed). I also appreciate that this company which is based in Stoke on Trent in England, an area historically known for the quality of its pottery, makes their pottery where they are based.
