Pluggy Lock Twist-and-Go Lock Earphone Jack Accessory (Chrome) Review: Great innovative product! - I've been using my Pluggy headphone lanyard base for over 2 years now and it works great for me. I primarily use it to keep a wrist strap on it for added drop protection. It's saved my phone from falling about 5 feet since I'm over 6'1". I don't usually have a need to use my headphone jack since I always use wireless Bluetooth headphones, so I usually leave my Pluggy locked in. Every once in a while I'll remove it to play music in my older truck that doesn't have Bluetooth. I did eventually wear out the little threaded screw and stripped one of the tiny metal washers and I was unable to use it for a few weeks until I contacted the company via email. They were very nice and generous to me and sent me a free replacement even though I was willing to spend some money for the replacement parts. I was really pleased with their customer service especially since they were very nice to ship me a free replacement all the way from Italy! I would highly recommend this product as it has saved my expensive smart phones from possibly cracking a screen or worse after a substantial fall onto a hard floor surface like concrete. And yes, if you consistently remove and re-install it the parts will eventually wear out but if you plan on using Bluetooth headphones eliminating the use of the headphone jack for actual headphones then as long as you properly install it snug into your headphone jack it should last you for at least the life of your smart phone and onto the next phone! If nothing else their customer service is great! I would personally highly recommend this product.
