Solid
Got these several months ago. Have used them several times. Durability is good so far. I REALLY like the flip locks. The simply work and can be used with heavy gloves on. Yes, they are a 2 piece design, and weigh more than other poles, but I want strength, and these deliver. I like the grips, and the straps stay in their position. I wish they came with snow baskets.

Best brand of hiking poles I've ever bought
Very sturdy adjustable best poles I've ever purchased all other brands I have purchased have fallen apart and broken I use them to climb in steep mountains terrain uphill and downhill makes climbing a lot easier

Great poles
Love these. Got a lot of hikes on them and love them. Im 6ft6in so the 2 pc design works fine for me. No issues storing on the side of my pack. Would buy again..

bad design in a way
I should have gotten the three segment version. These are quite long even when shrunk down. Also, due to the silver segments taper, they don't clip tight when shrunk down, they want to grow out a couple inches before the clip stops it... bad design in a way. Not ultra light either. Good intro pole though. I might be replacing before next year's trip into the Tetons.

poor design
These are a two-part pole, and as such are far too long to carry at the side of a small rucksack. Also, when collapsed, the clip does not grip thetapering pole, so it slips out about 4 inches.Very poor design.If you can, I would advise ending back as "not fit for purpose"!
