Excellent attachment ring for tree work
Very handy to be able to add another attachment point to my arborist saddle quickly and reliably.

A fantastic way to set up semi-permanent rigging
My SAR team uses these to connect portions of our vertical rescue rigging that stay connected as "modules". The closing system is secure and reliable and the ring shape allows simultaneous loading in multiple directions (unlike a locking carabiner, by comparison). The ability to open the ring when needed makes it easy to change out soft goods from the system as they wear or age. Perfect for our needs.

Strong and Dependable
What more is there to say about Petzl? They are the leader in this industry for a reason. I got these two rings to attach my seat to my harness. They work great.

Good product, a little bit on the expensive side
I bought two of these. One of which I used to turn a block and tackle setup 90°, and the other to attach a swivel to the bottom of the block and tackle. They work great. They don't sacrifice as much height as a carabiner. At $27, they're a bit on the expensive side considering they are simpler to manufacture than a carabiner. Still I like what they do and that they are a more permanent attachment then a carabiner

Used on my harness to safely add another bridge
This design was inherently hard for me to trust as a key connection point to my bridge, but it's held up well for nearly a year of hard use. Be sure to inspect it every few climbs to confirm the screw is still adequately torqued and it'll serve you well for years to come. Absolute gold.

Unmatched versatility compared to other rings
Probably my favorite thing petzl makes besides the ball lock carabiners. It’s so versatile. Attach it anywhere, run ropes through it, hook carabiners in or girth hitch to it.. great piece of gear.
