Fits well

I've had my Cross Tech 3 since the days before capacitive (finger based) touch screens were a thing. One of the pen inserts was a hard stylus that I used mine on my old Palm Pilot models 20 years ago... So, while looking for a replacement cap for mine which had come loose and been lost, I came across this option and thought it was a great idea! It obviously does the trick of working on modern capacitive touch screens with no issues on any of my devices. It fits wonderfully on my pen, and matches my black matte pen like it was made together. Therein though lies my only regret. While it's a perfect match, it causes the look of the pen to become ordinary, and not very pleasing for a pen I spent $60 on twenty years ago lol! I'd HIGHLY recommend to those who have a matte black pen to order the chrome style to enhance the look of a high quality pen, and possibly vice versa for those with a chrome version. Otherwise, I have no problems recommending this item to anyone.

I bought this to replace the top on an older model tech 3 and it fit perfectly and added a new function to an old favorite. Good stylus and perfect color for my pen.

I bought this pen for my son, but lost the cap for it. I did not realize that it was considered a consumable, like an eraser or pencil lead, as the tip can wear; as such, Cross sells replacements.Although it was pricey for just a cap, I did not feel gouged, and I was able to get exactly what I was looking for.
