I like the way this cable looks but when you cut it the fabric frays instantly and you have to burn it with the lighter right away, otherwise it will look messy. I wasted a piece of cable before I got used to it. Remember that when you do projects with this cord! Otherwise it's fine, after installation it looks quite sublime. You can barely tell it's golden as the color is non-invasive. It blended with my wood color and that's the effect I wanted, natural but not rustic since my chandelier is handmade/rustic and I wanted something to highlight the craftsmanship and the imperfect look of the shades by hanging them on opposing very sleek cords. I think it succeeded.

Have been repairing antique lamps for family members. Really didn't want to use boring white or brown wire for replacement. Was so happy to find this. It's fully insulated with the colored cloth covering. Looks beautiful & there are so many colors available I've been able to keep some of the original character for the lamps.

18 gauge wire is pretty thin for incandescent bulbs, but I used these for 15 watt LED bulbs and it worked great. This wire fits inside a threaded lamp/light rod and allowed me to re-wire my hanging farmhouse light shades. Good product.

This wire worked great for a mid-century modern hanging lamp I rebuilt.
