100 Baby Poultry Leg Bands 5/16" Large Size 5 Chick (100)

They work well. They stretch a lot so it's easy to get them on, but helps to have a second person. They do not seem like they would last a long time if they were used permanently on smaller birds, but that's just my gut. I had them on chicks for about a month and they seemed more brittle but could still have gone a while. I ended up cutting them off, their feet were too big to get through and the band would just snap when I tried to fit the foot through. So reusability is probably limited. But overall they are great.

I have 29 varieties of chicks this year so this has been a total help for me. I ordered all 3 sizes and the large is my go-to for most of my chicks. They are good quality and can be re-used and there is a nice selection of colors and they have the "perfect" stretch to them. I forgot to take the band off one of my chicks when he outgrew them and it didn't hurt the chick at all and expanded enough to grow with him until I caught it. If you have multiple chicks like I do I strongly recommend getting all 3 sizes like I did. The Large will be too big for most newborns and the small was just too small for even my Silkies but fit my Seramas good. The only varieties that fit the large as newborns was my Sanjacks & OShamos but they are HUGE chickens so that was to be expected. These leg bands are easy to put on baby chicks' legs, and stay on till removed for a larger band. I'd highly recommend for keeping your breeds sorted.

Used for when I was hatching out multiple different breeds of chicks. I had to use colored zip ties when they first hatched because these were too big. But these worked well once the chicks were big enough. They never broke/snapped and lasted until I cut them off. Only thing is I wish they came in a variety of sizes

Super easy to take on and off the chicks, causes no discomfort, and they are reuseable. Just make sure to pay attention to when they need to size up

I really like these as I am breeding for a specific egg color. They stretch very well with the chick from day one. The large is a little big day one but it don’t fall off and work just fine.

While that are exactly as advertised, these bands have virtually no effective use past the first 1-2 weeks of the chicks life. they are just too small and too hard to apply without hurting the bird.

We used the medium size on our chicks at a few days and switched to the large around week 4 (should have switched at week 3 though). Very stretchy so very easy to put on. Easy to stretch to take off as well. I wish there were more color options, but we just added more combinations. a few snapped when putting on, but only a couple.
