A well written and illuistrated book
Photography has been my hobby for many years, however I bought my first serious Digital SLR camera a few months ago and thought I would find a book to expand my ideas and technique. I chose this volume because I already had a book by the same author Tom Ange which I liked. At 384 pages this book is well illustrated with excellent photographs and sound advice. It is split into 8 sections each one dealing comprehensively with the chosen subject for example events, architecture, people, animals, etc. It is a book about taking photographs, how to use your camera, it is not a technical book about cameras. Brilliant.

A good starter book
I bought this book for my wife, no complaints so far. I had a quick look through and it seemed to cover lots of things.I think it’s a good all round book for someone who wants to do a little better than point and snap.
