Good and economical for light use
We use a Bunn coffee maker in our home , but my hubby uses this model in his man cave for making breakfast there. It works a long while, then he tosses it and buys another. He likes it for light use for just himself.

Fast and Easy Coffee Maker!
This is perfect for one person, and it brews evenly. It tastes better without an extra filter. So just use as is.

Great little coffee maker but not better than the original
This was very easy to set up. Take out of box, remove packing, plug in. It is very functional since it’s a coffee maker. Coffe stays hot. The pot and filter are easy to clean, rest of coffee maker not so much. Now, I had the original design for my first coffeemaker, and I have noticed a couple things since I received this. One, as someone else had stated, depends on the grind of coffee as to if you receive 3 cups or 5 cups one brewing. The fine or the ground, the less coffee in the pot and debatable if you try and add water to make an additional half pot. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. The coffee pot itself, I’m really not sure what they changed on the design unless it’s on the coffee maker, but I have noticed that depending on how you were holding it, depends on whether or not it poured straight or if it “leaks” from the pour spout. I’m not too sure about the redesign. It’s not as small as previous version, and at least with the old one, if I decided to pour a cup early, it stopped filling the pot. Not now. My fault, I saw it in the description, but I guess it didn’t register. Personally, I love Amazon Basics, but this was more of a miss than a hit. I had the original of this since 2019, and had to replace because the base stopped working; it no longer turned on ( because sometimes I’d forget to turn it off), so maybe I should have bought a new one of the old version.

Makes good coffee
This is a basic coffee pot that makes great coffee. No bells, no whistles. No auto shut off or programmable features. The reservoir holds all the water you need for 5 cups. It keeps the coffee at the right temperature. The color of the coffee pot is nice, goes with any decor. I find it a good value. The quality is good. Yes, I would recommend this product.

Rightsizing your coffee maker is key for a 2nd good cup of coffee!
I live alone and usually have two larger size cups of coffee every morning. Typical standard 10 - 12 cup coffee pots have always been an issue for me as all warming pads are non-adjustable in temperature (why is that?). By the time I go back to refill my cup, the remaining coffee left in the pot is always burnt. Ironically if you buy a standalone warmer for a cup of coffee or tea, they are almost understandably adjustable in temperature. Coffee machine makers need to fix this imho. I could care less about clocks, timers, etc. Years ago, I switched to a 10-cup B&D glass thermal carafe coffee maker which worked great. No heating pad, no burnt 2nd cup of coffee. I couldn't wait too long for the 2nd cup, as with only two cups of coffee the heat from the small amount of coffee could not keep the remaining coffee hot for too long, but it worked. As with all things after years of faithful service, that pot eventually died. I then bought a brand new highly rated B&D 12 cup steel thermal carafe coffee maker as B&D no longer makes smaller thermal glass carafe models. A great machine, but a huge mistake. The 12-cup steel thermal carafe does not hold heat like the older 10-cup glass thermal carafe did, so the 2nd cup is almost always cool. B&D tries to put "lipstick on this pig" by strongly suggesting you preheat the steel carafe with hot water for a few minutes, then empty it, THEN make your 2-3 cups of coffee if you want it hot. Man, too much effort, too much waster of hot water. This little machine is sized perfectly for my needs. Its measure of a cup of coffee is much smaller than mine (smaller volume), and yes, the number of cups indicated on the waterline of the machine doesn't align with number of cups markings on the carafe (one cup less), I can live with that. This Amazon Basics five cup machine is good looking, small, simple, and very well made for what it is meant to be. While so much smaller, it can still use standard circular disposable coffee filers if you don't wish to use the reusable filter that comes with it. The burner pad is sized for the smaller amount of coffee so it DOES NOT BURN the second cup of coffee! It was $20 vs $65 for my now boxed up and stored 12-cup B&D steel thermal machine. My only "complaint" is I think the glass wall of the carafe of this Amazon Basics machine is VERY thin. You must treat it very gently or it is going to break. Well done, Amazon! This coffee marker is MUCH less expensive and far simpler than a Kerig coffee machine. While it's a little more work than a Kerig, not by much. -

Good, Simple, and Cheap…But it also broke.
This is a simple coffee maker that worked great for almost a year. We wanted a cheap, no-frills coffee maker that didn’t have lots of buttons and dials and option. Just add water, coffee, and turn on. This worked great for that. But unfortunately, this morning when I went to flip the on switch, the switch literally popped out of the unit and fell apart, into tiny broken plastic pieces. We are obviously disappointed that it didn’t even last a year, but it is a cheap coffee maker, so we have ordered another one to replace it. Hopefully the next one lasts longer, in the meantime, we are giving this a three out of five because of the low quality and failure to last.

Best Yet
This is a great little coffee maker! Doesn’t leak all over the place when pouring which I find to be a plus. Coffee is brewed just right. I’ve had several different brands and this is the best!

Safety mechanism does does not shut the pot off after the it runs dry.
I love the little coffee maker. I’ve had it for years. It works great, heats the coffee up quickly, and gets it to a decent temperature. However the mechanism that is supposed to shut off if you boil down to a dry pot does not work. Terrifyingly I went out with my family for over five hours. Did not know that my daughter drank the last of the coffee and put the pot back on the burner, and never shut it off. So the pot was sitting on the scolding burner, and it continued to heat that empty pot for the full-time we were gone. Now, miraculously it didn’t overheat and the pot did not crack. Which I can’t believe. And it’s working perfectly fine the next day. But you might want to put a timer on it just in case because shutting it off after the pot goes dry is not working on this unit.

Ideal for Solo Coffee Lovers
This coffee maker is the perfect size for me. Keep in mind it’s small, but since I live alone, it works great. It comes with a removable basket filter, though I prefer using small paper filters (which I found on this site). I use filtered water from my fridge, and it brews a hot, satisfying pot of coffee. In the morning, I fill it to the 4-cup mark, which gives me about 2 cups of coffee (see photo).

Surprisingly Good despite the small size
I was surprised and scared at first by the size, it looked like something I would buy for my kids to play with. I bought it a couple of months ago and I have been using it every day. Amazingly, it works great and it's perfect for my needs, it only makes 2 cups of coffee ( 1 big, 1 medium size) . The best part is that you don't need a paper filter, it comes with it's own reusable filter.

Excelente calidad
