Good cord; polarization hiccup.
I received my cord today in the mail. It works just fine! The maximum length of my cord from end to end (plug to plug) measured exactly 13.25". Close enough in my opinion. As others have mentioned, the polarization of the plugs are inconsistent. In fact, the very description does indicate that the female end is polarized but male end is not. Don't even ask me why they've decided to do this, but it is what it is. I knew this fact up front, so again, no stars taken off for it.Here's a simple tip for those who are disgruntled over the polarization issue. What I have done was simply taken my multimeter and set it to the audible continuity test setting. Insert one prong of your multimeter into either slot of the female end and touch the other prong to either individual male plug ends. If it beeps or doesn't beep, you know which is which. Simply take a Sharpie, tape or a sticker and somehow identify which end corresponds to the skinny or wide polarized plugs. Voila! This isn't rocket science. You'll then keep your polarization consistent throughout your chain of house wiring, extension cord and whatever you have plugged into the end of it. Simple!I gave it a five star rating for the fact that the cord is advertised properly and by the fact that the cord seems to be of a decent quality, regardless of the polarization hiccup that I knew of in advance. If you need a simple ungrounded AC patch cord, I'd recommend this.

Review for: 1ft. US Power Extension Cable
Review for: 1ft. US Power Extension CablePerfect length for the need I have for them. I really appreciate having this 2 prong plug at this length for that purpose.Be aware that this extension may only be good for 7 Amps, NOT 12 Amps.DETAIL: Writing on the female plug end claims "7A 125V" (7 AMPS), NOT 12 amps as in the product description. This means the cord is rated for less electricity to pass through it than in the product description (or is improperly labeled, of course). You wouldn't want to use this in any way with high amperage equipment like a hair dryer. The good news is one might be hard pressed to imagine in what circumstance a cord of this length would be put to use with a high amperage device in a home, but you never know. How the cord receivedDOES MATCH the pictures:--------------------------- The male plug tongs being the exact same size.- The male plug tongs have plastic sheathing for the first 1/4" or so of the tongs. How the cord receivedDOESN'T MATCH the pictures:------------------------------ The female plug outlet holes aren't the same width, which is a good thing. Hopefully the photo will be updated to reflect this. The writing on thecord is as follows:-----------------(1) "7A 125V PHS-213"(2) "PSE JET necmagnus"(3) "necmagnus 2010 VCTFK 0.75mm^2 -F- PHINO C1"

Works great
The unit I replaced used to black out the screen every once in a while. It had other connections but I really only needed the connection to my monitor. This unit doesn’t black out the screen.
