Curious George and the Firefighters/Jorge el curioso y los bomberos: Bilingual English-Spanish

Great books to donate. Kids love this series.

This is an excellent resource for children learning Spanish. There are a variety of ways it can be used, depending on the level of fluency. One can read the entire text in Spanish, or for children who are just beginning, it would be possible to use the Spanish text to learn the names of objects in the book.

We like these bilingual books. I like the placement/type setting of the translation. Translation seems very accurate to me. I'm not native Spanish speaker, but have been speaking it 20 years. I enjoy learning a few new words, too. My son always asks for Jorge.

My daughter loves this series, this is a story-line consistent with the more original concept (where Curious George's curiosity gets him into trouble, not just random activities, with subsequent resolution). The Spanish/English scripts were useful and accurate.

A way to introduce my LO into the firefighter's world... The pages are soft, easy to tear. Not a good option for babies :(. But anyway if you are a fan of curious George buy it....

Esta ok. La mitad del libro no tiene que ver con bomberos sino Jorge jugando pelotas. Pero está ok.

It is great as it has both English and Spanish, my preschool grandson is learning Spanish as well so books like this are wonderful for him to practice.

My 3 year old daughter loves George. She likes that she can read it in both languages... she is bilingual. Sometimes she is looking for the Spanish caption in other books!

If you have a little boy who loves fire engines this is a great book. The story flags a little in the middle but overall a classic. The dual language version is a bonus if you or your child is learning Spanish!
