This product has good weight to it and is very solid. Drilling through it is a breeze and leaves a a clean hole with no real concern of splitting/cracking unlike with glass or other synthetic products out there. Is actually thicker than expected. I reccomend for craft/DIY Projects as well as an alternative for glass in frames (such as an area where pictures are near children or pets which was my first thought as an alternate use) as it is completely transparent and resilient.

This is a quality product that I can recommend. I use these plates in my art practice as a backing for gelli plate printing. One-eighth of an inch is plenty thick, sturdy and non-bendable. The plates come with peel-and-stick protection on both sides, nicely packaged with bubble-wrap in a sturdy box to store them in between uses. The plate edges are smooth, not wicked sharp like they would be if you got them cut at the lumber yard or did them yourself. Worth every penny not to have to sand them down!

Good Polish quality: Good

Looks to be great quality. I will be using in the next week or so to install on my race car to replace the rear quarter glass. Will also be installing ducts into them.
