I’ve used this brand of shampoo before and it’s always good quality. I bought this specific one for the skin soothing and anti stink effects lol. The shampoo did not smell great out of the bottle but after I shampooed my stank basset hound I was so surprised. Her coat was so soft and shiny and she smelled great! I notice less flakes on her coat since using this. I also follow up with the zymox leave in conditioner.

I'm giving this three stars because of the scent. It lathers well, but I'm not sure what human thinks that cucumbers smell good, but I've never met one. Vanilla, orange, almond, and lemon are all things that most people would describe as "smelling good". Aloe Vera, also not something that most people would not describe as "smelling good". I suggest that whatever panel of people you are using to test the scent of you products be reassessed; their sense of smell should be questioned. Thank you.

My dog has seasonal skin problems: dry, flakey, and most of the time she stinks. The poor girl can't help it. We give her an allergy pill but even that doesn't do it. The smell to this isnt amazing when washing her, BUT IT DOES THE JOB! Her flakey skin is gone and the smell is gone for several days. That's a win for us!

This shampoo worked so well that it's the first product I've actually considered reviewing. I was tired of bathing my pit/lab mix and her still stinking afterwards. It didn't matter the amount of shampoo I used or how well I scrubbed her coat, the longest she was remotely stink-free was two days. She would stink up the whole room and couldn't be petted without having to wash the stink off of your hands afterwards so I decided to look for something to remove the odor and came across this shampoo by SynergyLabs. I tried a baking soda solution and although it removed the smell better than all of the shampoos I tried, it was too runny and cold for bathing. I was very pleased to see that this shampoo had baking soda in it since I know it to be a very good deodorizer. This shampoo also made her coat shiny again and the clean smell lasted for approximately 2 weeks which is a new record. My sister was so impressed at how much better the dog smelled that she started using it on her sweaty, must prone Great Pyrenees. Since my dog's coat is prone to excessive shedding I also ordered and used the Kong ZoomGroom on her which definitely helped get the shampoo all the way through her coat. In case you're looking for a good bath brush here's a link to the one I mentioned, KONG ZoomGroom, Dog Grooming Brush, Raspberry
