Good budget gaming laptop
Only just got laptop but have played Fortnite. The auto settings put the settings on Epic but there where quite a few drops in frame rate so I chose High and it was around 60fps with drops to 50. Very playable. The one I have has only 8Gb Ram so will upgrade that same goes for. Storage will add another m.2 drive. Yes it does get a bit hot and the fan are noticeable if you don't have headphones on. But as another review said if you can hear the fans you know they are doing their job. The sound does not have much bass. But I would use headphones so not an issue for me. Screen is very clear. Only had it a few hours but so far very impressed.

Replacement for Dell Lappy
I bought this laptop to replace my dell G15, and it is a true upgrade over the 3 year old model. The screen is amazing! Bright and full of clarityThe keyboard is quite compact and takes a little getting used tooOverall the laptop is quite thin and light, if I had to take it around; I doubt it would be very taxing on my shoulders.Features built in like being able to cap the battery at 50% so that I can keep it plugged in at home (As my house laptop) without fear of the battery degrading too quickly make this an instant buy for someone like me.As for gaming, I only really play league of legends, and it is flawless; no issues at all.Very loud speakers, fans are loud with a heavy load. But brilliant for me

Great Affordable Gaming Laptop (with a few compromises)
I have the i7 11370h/RTX3060 model. My journey with this laptop has not been smooth but it's turned out to be mostly good bang-for-buck. First one had HDMI and some software issues; connecting a HDMI cable and then plugging in the AC adapter would cause the laptop to blue screen 100% of the time. The HDMI cable used was a high quality fibre optic HDMI cable. This problem might also be related to something with Armory Crate because I didn't have that problembefore I updated components from within the software. Eventually the laptop wouldn't boot anymore and could be recovered using ASUS' recovery software. I could plug in a bootable windows flash drive but the laptop wouldn't recognise the keyboard or trackpad. That unit was sent back and e replacement was sent to me by Amazon.Second unit still doesn't work with the HDMI cable unless it's on battery power only, had to resort to using the Thunderbolt 4 port for video output. No other software problems though. Now to the good partI feel like this is as "portable" as you'll get on a gaming laptop having this hardqare combo. The design is ubderstated (except for the keyboard) and does not scream 'gaming hardware' when your using it while you're out and about. Design overall is very solid. The laptop has great battery life; around 3 hours of battery life with the dGPU on and around 8hours+ with the dGPU disabled. I advise you keep MSHybrid mode in Armory Crate on 'Optimised' in roder for the laptop to successfully switch on/off the dGPU depending on what power source is being used.Performance has been suprisingly good: I get 60fps or more in most current games at 1080p Ultra settings with some Ray Tracing features enabled, with Cyberpunk 2077 being the only outlier. The display is not accurate. Don't bother getting this if that's a priority, unless you're going to use external displays with the laptop.Keyboard and trackpad took a little getting used to because of placement and size. The power brick is quite compact.Overall, I'm quite happy with the overall package.

Appalling value for money
Bought this laptop a couple of weeks ago and assumed its terrible performance was due to some kind of error, so sent for a replacement. Replacement is just as bad, struggling to run basic games such as League of Legends (which it averaged 50 FPS on ASUS turbo mode on very low league settings with a browser/discord open at the same time, 90 if you restarted beforehand and had nothing else open) and god forbid you try to run something less optimised (it was chugging along at a very sketchy/fluctuating 15 FPS on low on Devil May Cry 5). Spent several hours with some techy friends trying to fix it + contacting NVIDIA/RIOT and ASUS themselves (who had the cheek to tell me such performance was standard for this (£930!) laptop) before deciding to return the damn thing and glad I did because the Dell I've got for £30 less is already proving infinitely better.Pros:🟢Looks okay on the outside I guess🟢Display's pretty good (colour-wise etc)Cons:🔴Absolutely abysmal performance on just about every game I tried despite being a gaming laptop, barely uses its good GPU (or at least doesn't appear to when staring at % usage in task manager) even when running demanding games/forcing all settings to default to the good GPU/uninstalling/reinstalling various graphics drivers🔴ASUS support is not useful when encountering any issues such as above🔴Keyboard is awkwardly in the middle of the laptop which I guess makes sense but takes a bit of getting used to🔴Power cable plugs in halfway down the side of the laptop (????)🔴No camera at all (which I'm sure it says somewhere but I didn't bother checking for this since I assumed cameras were standard nowadays)🔴Keyboard backlight colour can't be changed, unlike it's cheaper cousin (ASUS TUF FA506IU) which I'm forced to conclude is better in every single way possible🔴Every time laptop is plugged in or out screen goes off for a second (bit annoying and changing the refresh rates to be the same doesn't seem to fix it)🔴Quite loud fans🔴Turns itself on at maximum fan mode at 2am in the middle of the night to do ??something?? for a good few minutes then shuts down again (It did this twice while I had it, on both models)
