I like how it does include tips as to what shakespheres words mean however I still feel like I am reading a different language so they could simplify it a lot more.

Bought for daughter as part of A level English essential reading. It is the exam board edition.

I got this book as a refresher on my English PGCE. It is truly wonderful; complete play and detailed notes. Plenty of lesson ideas and revision activities, so could be used by either a teacher or a student and lots of definitions for tricky words. This book also has some wonderful photos.

Good book! It contains lots of little notes that help to understand the text and make the reader think! There is lots of space to make notes and analyse the text so it is pefcect for academic use! If I had brought a different copy I do not think I would have done as well on my gcse mocks!

An attractive study guide filled with a great range of inspiring activities for teachers/students and interesting images from a variety of productions. The activities focus on language analysis, context and performance so would work well for either a literature of drama course.I have knocked a star off as I feel the notes could at times be more detailed.
