My dog is only 15 lbs but she is tall so she has always had to travel cargo. She is just too old now, completely deaf, and I wouldn't put her through cargo again, so I have paid for business class seats for more floor space, and this carrier will allow her to stretch out when we are in the air, even if she can't stand. I still think it is a better option than cargo. I haven't used it on the plane yet, but my expectations are that it is going to be perfect. The mesh does have a small hole, and the seller very kindly offered to give me a refund, but I will just sew the hole. For this reason I give it 3 stars for sturdiness. I think perhaps the mesh could be a better quality. But overall, I love it!

This is the cutest carrier... so many great features and my dog seemed to like it. I don't understand how it could fit under the airline seat though and would love to hear how people have done it. It's 12" high most under-the-seat airline heights are like 8.5" or so from what I've read. Help??

My cat is terrified of carriers. I ordered this in hopes of having an easier time of taking him to the vet. My cat is 14 years old and I hate the trauma of shoving him into a crate to take him for checkups. As if the trip isn't hard enough already right? This was a wonderful experience! He went in super easy. With the mesh he didn't feel like something bad was going to happen. Even the car ride was so much more pleasant. The shoulder strap makes it so easy to carry, and it was great to open the sides in the car for his comfort. The zippers made it so much easier to reach in and pet him safely without worry of him getting loose. Also, that mesh is super strong/tough. He tried to claw and scratch and it didn't leave a mark! Also, the whole thing folds flat which I did not realize. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone with multiple small cats, or even a good size cat (mine is 13 pounds, and he had plenty of room). My vet was also very impressed and said she would recommend this to other people who have a smaller dog or cat(s) who don't like the traditional cages. So glad I found this!

So my cat is obsessed with this carrier... she usually wants no part of any kennels/cages/carriers I’ve bought, but she immediately loved this thing for some reason. I’ve caught her playing and even sleeping in it multiple times.It has so much space both with and without the sides down (my cats only abt 7.5-8 lbs) and the material it’s made of feels so nice & high quality. I took a chance buying this since it had so few reviews, but was so pleasantly surprised by how well made it is. I bought it specifically for a long car trip, but after seeing it I think it would be perfect for a vet visit, flying, or anything in between.
