Hi everyone. My name is Nick and I have a Codling Moth problem in/on my Granny Smith Apple tree. Every year I get great production out of that tree yet up to 80% of the fruit is wormy. I like to make cider of these apples (as well as apple pie that the Mrs. prepares) but I have to cut out the bad parts before juicing. So this year I’m getting serious about pest control. I contacted OSU Aggrecultural center for advice. They literally keep track of the life cycle of these little buggers and informed me that May 21st was the time to spray and to spray every7 days. So that’s what I’m doing. It’s going to be all out war on these little critters all summer long. Took the time to thin the apples out leaving 1-2 per cluster. So the jury will be out until harvest at which time I will write another review. If it works there won’t be enough STARS to click on. I’ll be absolutely ecstatic! For y’all’s reference I used Ortho hose spray attachment with dial in concentrator. Easy to use and any leftover in the container can be saved. Read the directions. They’re clear and easy to understand.

Awesomeness
This is the best stuff I have found for spraying fruit trees and killing the bugs and bacteria that harm them. I even started using it on our small bushes that were struggling due to some bug or disease and it made a HUGE difference there too. I also use it to kill the scales that try to make a living in my autumn blaze maple tree. Great stuff!

Amazon, stop and think. You ask for reviews on products that will not see results for weeks or months.

Thanks For This Great Product
If you have flowering crab trees, or any fruit trees this product is the best on the market. Read for proper time to apply. Use two table spoons per gallon, works great. May need apply more than once. This product does what the label says!!! READ LABEL FIRST! And use protective wear. Thanks Ortho!

Undecided
We have a peach tree that is about ten feet tall and wide, which gives us around two or three dozen peaches every summer. This spring grasshoppers ate all of the leaves off the tree in June. I purchased this spray, mixed with water in a hand-held pump up spray unit, and sprayed the branches. New leaves appeared over the next month and I sprayed them well, wetting all surfaces. Two days later, grasshoppers stripped the tree bare again. Now, the tree is beginning to sprout new leaves and I am undecided whether to try this spray again or use something else.
