Works Well with a Caveat
Even though this will handle really large apples, it takes a lot of strength to work the 12 blades through the apples. Just keep that in mind. Much easier to use on smaller apples.

Great Apple Slicer
My old Apple Slicer finally gave out, I went online to Amazon to look for a replacement. I decided on theSCHVUBENR 4.72 Inch Large Apple Slicer with 12 Blades - Professional Apple Cutter - Stainless blades.My old one had 8 blades but the 12 blades looked more appealing. The first time I tried the Slicer it was so smooth and simple. It barely took any pressure to slice effortlessly through the Apple. I just love it. It is very sturdy and I plan to use it for years to come. It comes in different colors and number of blades. I am completely satisfied with this purchase.

Works well but you do need to have a little strength to put behind it. I’m getting older and sometimes have a bit of difficulty using it. Very sturdy, cleans easily.

Handy tool for apple lovers!
Apples are both delicious and healthy, but a bit tedious to prepare in slices. This is a very sturdy utensil that cuts the perfect sized slices and removes the core. There are still a few tiny bits of the things that surround the seeds that I use a knife to flick off the slice, but is so much faster. I find it easiest if the stem is removed, and put the apple on a cutting board in my sink. Stand the apple on the top, or bottom, whichever is flattest. Center the slicer over the core, press down while rocking the slicer a little as it slices through the apple. Quick and easy snack!

Works but falls apart sometimes
I love the idea of this apple cutter. It has fallen apart a couple of times but can be easily put back together. The plastic and metal piece come apart. Not the best quality but still functional.

Love it! I much prefer thinner apple slices
Having used an 8 slice apple slicer for my entire life and always liked eating my apples cut this way. As I grew wiser in years, I found myself wanting thinner slices for whatever reason. I would cut my typical 8 slices and then cut them in half again, making 16. This worked well but added much more labor to the process. One day while cutting the 8 slices, I wondered if there was a slicer that made more slices. That's when I found this 12 slice version. I liked the double spot welds on the cutters to ensure long life so I ordered this one. I LOVE IT!!! The slices arent as thin as the 16 I had been doing but they are thin enough and given the time savings over what I was doing, this is great!!! Super happy with this apple cutter. Hope it lasts as long as I do.
