Q: can you hear it ticking?

I can hear it ticking on the the Retro Blue clock. I have it at the head of the bed and I can hear it when I'm standing at the foot of the bed. I have the Retro Red clock and I have to hold that one up to my ear to hear the ticking. Since I was pleased with the Retro Red clock I wanted to get another one for different bedroom and decided to get another color thinking it would be the same and was very disappointed it was not.

Q: Is there a snooze feature?

No there is not a snooze which can be inconvenient

Yes, it's definitely not a bright neon color, like it looks in this picture. Like Marj wrote, somewhere between the tone of sage green and the depth of pea green. It's a really nice color, and the clock itself is great. Couldn't be easier to use!

Q: do the glow in the dark hands really work, or do they fade overnight? I'm looking for them to glow enough so that I can see it overnight.

I usually keep the clock in my bathroom but, like another responder, I put it next to my bed at night and paid attention. At 4am the hands still glowed but it would be hard to see if the clock were not close. It also isn't easy to tell the time because the hands don't look that much different. It would probably be a good choice for someone who was sensitive to bright lights at night but otherwise I would recommend an easier clock to see at night. With that said, I do love it in my bathroom (I don't need to read it in the dark).
