No fillers or chemicals added. **Q: Is this bloodroot though...I am seeking bloodroot.** A: No bloodroot in this salve, try Best On Earth Products for a black salve that contains bloodroot, this one is more for splinters and such. **Q: How does one apply this? I bought this for my dad's skin cancer he has on his scalp and arms.** A: Using a sterile cotton swab. Tiny bit goes a long way. Place bandage over. Even though this ointment contains bloodroot, you should consult a dermatologist to make sure the cancers don't​ need to be removed. Prayers for your dad. **Q: No instructions on how to use. I would say he was in his late 50’s. He told me about this product and even had a picture on his phone and sent it to me. He said it cleared up a skin cancer he had on his arm completely. He said he used it on his face as well and that it takes consistent use over time. I have problems with my skin being very dry and there is never enough moisturizer in the world that has helped other than Curel Ultra Healing. Anyway, I was finally brave enough to put this on my face. I do it at night before bed. I smell like a campfire. It is very very strong, but I feel like I’m camping and it kind of grows on you. I have to put a towel on my pillow so I don’t get it the ointment all over it. For the past week my skin has been very smooth and not dry. I actually got up this morning and didn’t even have to put lotion on my face (I usually wash my face again in the morning but didn’t today)I went straight to my makeup and never needed lotion all day. It’s brown and greasy at night but my skin absorbs it all. It’s not convenient having to put it in the fridge, but I take it out in enough time to warm up before I use it.
