Larger than I expected
I bought these so my husband could enjoy some tea with me as I joined a tea club. First thing I noticed upon opening the package was that these balls are quite a bit larger than my mesh tea infuser. For smaller teacups, classic tea cups, this will be inconvenient. However, they will fit fine in a mug. I like the little drip trays. I was not disappointed in my purchase.

Nice size and works great. Even comes with a little stainless steel dish to rest the ball on after use. I like the chain with the hook on the end to keep it from falling into the cup. Just remember NOT to put the tea ball in the cup before you microwave. Heat water in cup first then put tea ball in. Cover and let steep for a few minutes.

Some small flecks get through but other than that they work great. They seem loose but you can tighten the hinge easily.

Tea leaves still seeps through
I bought this because I bought a bunch of loose tea and wanted something more convenient than using coffee filters and tying them. However, they're a lot bigger than I expected and a lot of the tea leaves came through the little holes which I didn't like. I will be returning my purchase.

Works great, especially for making tea without bags and cooking with multiple large spices
great help for 1. Tea. We make tea from the box, that does not have tea bags. no need for a special sieve after the tea.2. For cooking curries especially when we use spices like star-anise, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon etc.Just try it. Seriously.

Love it. Pleasant looking and sturdy, won't fall apart or open on you full of used tea. It even has little stainless tray. I had to file the trays because the edges were quite sharp; a small minus.

Does the trick
These work pretty well. They’re perfect for when I make my tea using fresh peppermint leaves, but when I use dried peppermint I end up with little pieces of peppermint in my tea. If the holes were a bit smaller it would be better.
