now first I'd like to address the size issue
shipping was fast and I got to use the belt for legs day....now first I'd like to address the size issue...I'm about a 32-34 on my pants size...and that depends if I'm on a gain or deficit...I understand that it should go off the belly size so I accounted for that....according to the size chart a large would have been in order so I ordered the large...well fitting the belt on me ..it did fit with holes to spare either side...but...there is a bit too much belt for comfort...the excess reaches around to my side..and that's if I have the lever set all th way to my opposite side...I ended up cutting 3-4 inches off and now it feel great....and the lever is more centered...I don't know how much smaller the medium would have been but for me this did th trick. now for quality...it is a a heavy felt with suede stitched on top and not a true all leather belt...but ..this makes it feel more comfortable in use...the stitching is well enough but as mentioned before I ended up cutting it so it didn't matter....and for me it's more about the practical use rather than how it looks so it serves it's purpose....the lever is shiney chrome and funtions well...not quite sure how long this will last after many uses..just depends on the pins that hold it in place...but for now it works well. overall I would recommend it to anyone needing to save 40 bucks over an inzer...but as for how long it lasts...that depends on how often you'll be using it...... 3 times a week it may last you years....but every day use may prove it's weakness as the material is softer and may not hold up to the abuse as a real ..stiff..all leather belt.....same goes for the lever...time will tell.....in the end U get what U pay for....hope this helped .

Great Belt!
I have enjoyed using this belt while at the gym! It has definitely helped my performance when working out legs, specifically when doing squats! It’s very easy to put on and take off, and comfortable!

does the job well
Didn't want to overpay for a gym accessory, but I needed a gym belt; this was perfect and didn't break the bank.

It's 7-8mm, not 10-13mm. VERY Dishonest, misleading, and dangerous
I was really excited for this belt, as it seemed like it would be good quality, and I've been wanting a buckle one for a while though. Buckle lifting belts can be pricey, so I was happy to see one for a good price. You get what you pay for I guess. The belt comes with some screws, the buckle, and the belt. Assembling it is intuitive, although there are no instructions or guides, so if you're a newbie it might be confusing. The buckle seems to be of mid quality. It's not broken, but it looks like it's made of cheap metal and has a faux-chrome finish, which to me, is never a good sign. Here's the reason it gets 1 star and a return from me though:THIS IS NOT A 10-13MM BELT. It's 7-8mm AT BEST.I took several measurements with my calipers, and it never even hit 8mm, it's closer to 7.5/7.75mm.I'm using a belt so I don't blow my back out during deadlifts. I want an item from a company that's honest, and 3-6mm is a BIG deal when it comes to lower back support. If I want an 8mm belt, I'll buy an 8mm belt, but don't market it as 10-13mm then skimp out on the size.tl;dr - Misleading / false description. It's not 10-13mm thick. Invest in a better quality belt from a more honest manufacturer.

This is a real lifting belt
Lifting belts are not designed to "support" the back, but give you an area to brace your core from, which reduces injury to your back through proper muscle utilization.Belts with slim fronts and larger backs that claim they "support your back" are gimmicks. This is a real weightlifting belt. It's stiff and requires being broken in. It offers real support, and when used properly will help prevent injury, activate your core, and add some weight to your lifts.

Lever Sucks, replace it.
I’ve had this belt for over 5 years, and I’m finally retiring it. It’s great, durable, and gets the job done. I would recommend replacing the lever with something of higher quality. My lever broke 2 months after using it, and just ordered a different one, and have been using it ever since.

Brilliant, sturdy bit of kit
It’s bulky so not brilliant for death lifts but it’s fantastic for squats, way better than my previous cheaper Velcro belt. I love it!
