My wife went into labor a year and a half ago and that labor went very quickly....so quickly that she ended up giving birth on our bed in the presence of EMTs. We then went to the hospital where I stayed overnight with my wife and new baby girl. The next day, once things had clamed down, I went home to clean up before they came home. For those who have witnessed or gone through child birth, you know what a mess I arrived to. For those who haven't, suffice to say there are many different types of fluids and a lot of them. Let's just say I was fully expecting to be purchasing a new mattress. To my amazement, once I'd bagged our sheets and this mattress pad, our mattress was perfectly fine. I bought another one immediately and will continue to use this brand as long as it exists. I challenge anyone to put it through a more rigorous test and I'm positive it can stand up to some sweat or your child's pee in the middle of the night. I could have posted a pic but it's better for everyone if I don't.

I usually don't write reviews for items but I absolutely have to on this item. I got this in July and I didn't trust this protector because I've been let down in the past so I had a second waterproof pad sitting on top of this protector. Well two nights ago my son had a accident and I removed the pad with the sheets leaving this mattress protector on its own to defend his newer mattress. I meant to put the pad back after washing it but I forgot. Here I am at 4am and my son just had another accident and my first thought was NOOOOOO!!! I FORGOT TO PUT THE PAD BACK. So I absolutely assumed this mattress protector failed me but to my astonishment, once I peeled off the protector and ran my hand over the mattress it was completely DRY. DRY!!! A true miracle! I had purchased a different brand from target in the spring and that completely let me down so I just assumed the same outcome but not with this protector. So I just wanted anyone wondering if spending their hard earned money on this protector will be all for nothing to be rest assured this protector will save your mattress.

I've used this mattress protector brand for years 8+ years because of its great quality and the fact it is unnoticeable under sheets. No noise or weird plastic feeling.It's soft and quiet, fits the mattresses well, and has held up through anything it's been through - and it's been through any reasonable hypothetical you can come up with.I do replace it as needed (personally at least once a year but that's more preference than anything.) I'd say they last 1-2 years depending on how frequently you wash them.Not sure how it is now, but they had a fantastic warranty (I used it during a qualifying event - the process was easy and hassle-free.)

I think this cover is great. Mom now needs it and the mattress cover works GREAT!!! I was not sure it would work it was so thin, so I used 2 different kinds. I put the quilted one on top, don't ask me why, but I did. Mom had a big accident and the quilted cover did not work. But this one did. I was so happy. I just use this pad now. I have 2 now. They wash well but take some time to dry. So I strip the bed and but the other one on so Mom can hop back in bed. I am well pleased. Highly recommend it!

I would say this mattress protector is waterproof. It held up a pool of blood and dogs going onto the bed or any type of spills with drinks! I am very impressed! I would buy again! very soft and saved my mattress! Perfect for the price! It lasted me 3 years! It would've lasted me longer if I didn't bleed out with a miscarriage! Easy to wash! Great purchase I made. This is better than walmart brands that crinkle and move when you sleep or move around.
