It does work neatly. The materials and design looks nice and well resistant to use and abuse. I have had no trouble at all using it to manage and transfer hundreds of Gbs. Excellent portability, no noise at all.

Had this for a year now and it still works great, I mainly use it for gaming and really helps with the load times in games. It's really cool and silent, never felt it get warm. The small size is perfect for travel as well

The storage capacity is exactly what I needed for my Xbox Series X console. Easy to install and the console recognized it with no issue. It's small, takes up very little space and is quite fast.

Great price and arrived quickly. It was easy to connect, easy to use. I’ve taken extremely good care of it so I know I’ve done my part.It provided massive storage for everything from documents to videos BUT now it’s no longer working and I’ve lost tons of valuable and treasured items that would of been completely lost if it weren’t for the back-up in the cloud. Sadly, everything wasn’t backed-up in the cloud. And recently I realized a lot of it is stored in Amazon Photos, but not everything.I took it to my favorite tech guy. He said part of it was dead. He had a connector that was able to see and transfer all of the files to my laptop. He spoke highly of this brand and suggested leaving it connected to my laptop all the time may have caused the error.This has impressed on me the importance of storing things that are irreplaceable in multiple places.

Stores all my games and work for travel. design is easy to but in your laptop bag. Functions fast great for travel. Windows 10 and 11. so use and home and when I travel.

Great external storage device. You can plug this device in and use it, no formatting required. Connects without an issue and has no intermittent connectivity issues like we've experienced with other USB devices. Fast transfer speed for backing up files. Super easy to use!

I write this to save creators a headache. At first I thought this would be my new favorite hard drives. Love how small it is and price, but this turned out to be the worst external hard drive I’ve ever owned. It randomly will decide to disconnect. I frequently use other hard drives, in the same usb port, so I know that this is an issue with this WD drive. Even though I have the laptop sitting on a table and nobody touching the laptop, or the cord, or drive, it disconnects or disappears briefly from my drives list in Finder, and the Mac will give me a warning message “disk not ejected properly”. When I have it plugged in most of the day, it will do this 3-4 times a day or more. I do not recommend using this. It has cost me time and screwed up my tether connection to my computer. I have 13 external hard drives from over the years. This is the worst.
