I was excited to use this knife when it arrived. Blade was straight, handle was wonderful, the blade had a nice sheath to keep it protected too. But upon first use, I was somewhat disappointed with the cut, as it wasn't gliding through as well as expected. I stropped the edge with diamond powder, made it razor sharp (could shave my arm), but it still wasn't gliding through. I took it to the sharpening stones and reground the edge to be a narrower (14-16 degrees-ish), and it now glides through veg like it should. The VG10 steel holds its edge well, so I just lightly hone the blade each time I use it, and I only need to sharpen it every couple of weeks (it gets used multiple times a day).Handle is comfortable, the pattern on the blade is subtle, and the wide blade means I can scoop up veg into the pan with ease.

The blade is good but not the sharpest you can get, obviously. It does a great job of cutting through vegetables and fruit as it’s slight heaviness will help the blade go through too, but I haven’t used it on meats as I don’t eat meat. I like the appearance of it. It comes with a plastic cover for the blade and a box for the knife itself if you’d prefer. I sharpened it with a whetstone and it’s doing great at the moment. If you’re an avid cooker looking for a cheaper option you’ll probably like this knife, especially if your sharpening skills are better than mine.

The knife is of good craftsmanship it's easy to hold. There was a problem with my knife. And the seller was quick to reply to messages and sent out a replacement knife straight away. Could be happy with the service from seller and the knife is razor shap

Bought this for a friend that has a passion for cooking and was expecting this to be more sharp. It can barely slice an onion. A little disappointing. It has a nice case, good sized and not heavy.I’d say these are the only advantages. We’d have to buy a wet stone to sharpen it more.

The media could not be loaded. Amazing knife for the price, I’ve tried a lot of knives and this rates amongst the best I now own, don’t hesitate to buy.
