Good lifespan, decent quality, compact design is a plus for travelers
Summary: This unit has a very solid build, has lasted over a year and is very portable. The price is average but the quality is above average. The USB cables fit a bit loosely and the power cord is a little short, but I haven't experienced a single charging related problem so far and I imagine it will last for a long time. 4.6 / 5 stars.Review:I've been using this thing for over a year now and it has simplified my life a lot. I travel for work about 3 weeks per month and I would say this is a must have for any frequent traveler. It's great not having to carry a bunch of USB chargers around, or have to rely on the USB chargers on my laptop. The design feels very solid and after being hauled from city to city for a year, it doesn't even has a scratch on it (wish I could say that about the rest of my stuff). I would not describe it as "heavy" but it is definitely heavier than the cheap plastic models. I consider that a plus because I know the physical housing will last forever. It seems that some people are getting defective units so it may be a bit of a game of "Amazon roulette" here but if your unit isn't defective, you'll definitely be happy with the purchase. The charge itself has a pretty small footprint, which is awesome when I am traveling. I assume the dimensions in the description are a typo (obviously it is not 2.76 x 0.31 x 1.1) but a rough measurement is about 2.75 x 3.75 x 1.25 inches. The power cord feels very durable as well. I have wound this cord up over and over and it shows no sign of wear and tear. It is a basic 2 prong cord (no ground pin). The cord is less than 4 feet long, which is ok, but it would be nice if it was just a bit longer. Some hotels don't have many open outlets near the bed so in these cases, the unit has to be plugged in on the other side of the room, which I don't like. I bought a 10 foot iPhone charging cable that solves this problem for me. This way I don't have to worry about sleeping through my alarm because the phone is on the other side of the room. Also, the unit itself accepts 100-120 volts which is a huge plus for international travel.I haven't found anything that uses a USB for charging that it can't charge. It charges my tablet, iPhone, digital camera, portable battery, and lots of other stuff with no problem. I have used it to charge 5 things simultaneously and it works great. It's nice that it has 2 separate amperage options, as it will charge certain items quite a bit faster. Most electronics are limited by their own internal charging components and you probably won't see a big difference in charging speed with these items. My tablet, for example, charges almost twice as fast with the "super charger" outlet, which is nice since it is a very slow charging item. Fortunately, since most electronics regulate themselves, you don't have to worry about which port you plug into, but if you plug into the super charger port, you may get a faster charge. I like that it has 2 high amp ports, as many of the other chargers only have 1. It does get a little warm while it is being used but it is still going strong and I am not worried about it. I have dropped it numerous times while packing up early in the morning, but it is durable. I haven't experienced any issues with the blue LED light that other people have so it seems I received a good unit.It seems that the USB outlets accept cables a bit loosely. This can be a little annoying sometimes because the cables can be easily pulled out of the charger if you bump into it, or pull the cord at all. Not a huge deal but it is a small annoyance.Pros:1- Durability: This unit is solid and I know from experience that is can take a beating. The power cord itself is also durable and normally I would have noticed some wear by now, but this once still feels new.2- Portability: The unit has a nice size footprint, which makes it a great space saver for travelers. The 100-240 volt input is also a huge plus for international travel.3- Quality: It charges everything I've hooked up to it, no problem.4- Longevity: Not to say a year is an incredibly long time, but for discount electronics, it is. I have used this almost every night and have never experienced a single charging related issue with it.Cons:1- Cord length: This may not be an issue for some but the cord is a bit shorter than I would prefer. Fortunately, since the cord is a standard fitting, you could order a longer one if you want (it hasn't bothered me enough to do that yet).2- Loose connections: USB cables can be pulled out easily if you're not careful. This can be a problem if you use your phone as an alarm clock and your phone dies in the middle of the night because it came unplugged.Overall, the charger was a great buy. It is durable, it has lasted a while, and it does the job it's supposed to. There are a couple drawbacks (loose fitting USB's and a short power cord) but in the end, I would definitely buy it again.

Works well - no issues.
Works well, mounted to the back of my coffeetable with some double sided tape.

This product overheats to the point you can't touch it.
After 18 months of use the unit progressively got hotter until you can no longer touch it. This happens when it is under a load or merely plugged in. It is still under warranty but the manufacturer won't tell me how to return it. I am afraid it will cause a fire.

Warning
Update after about nine months sparks shot out of USB ports. Won't be using anymore. Worked great but after about 5 months one of the charging ports quit working

So far so good, nice charger - does what it says it will do....
Well - so far so good so it seems. This charger is travel friendly (small). It has been working fine thus far but I will update as to the performance of this puppy.Handles all apple products at this point - iPhone 5 and 6, current iPad and another iPad - couple years old. No issues so far. I put peel and stick pads on the bottom so it does not slide around when bing used. The power cord is made with the "zip cord" type cable which makes it nice to coil up and store. (I hope the manufacturer DOES NOT change to the stiffer cheaper cord that takes up to much room and is hard to store and coil - don't cost reduce this guys). The little blue light does not cause any issues and as noted in other reviews - this charger does not get hot, a little warm under a full load of charging 5 devices at once....so far so good. Apple products are a pain in the butt to find after market items that work, long term.I think you would enjoy this charger unless you get a bad one and that does happen from time to time. It shipped fast.

Great little desktop charger.
We just got this a few days ago and it works great! It charges our iPhones, iPads and other children's tablets we have with no issues. The cord feels durable yet still flexible enough to place the charger on a glass end table without it moving. The charger does not get hot at all and there is a small blue LED to indicate it is plugged. The LED is bright enough to see, but not obtrusive at all.

Seems legit
Grabbed this to accommodate my phone, a portable battery, and a portable game console, and I use it daily. It doesn't run hot, it provides consistent power at a speed similar to any other source, doesn't seem to have any problem charging more than one device at once, and it hasn't blown up any of my stuff. It gets the job done.

Actual output of 3 Universal ports higher than specs
Actual dimensions are 3.86'' x 2.765'' x 1.12'' (98mm x 70.23mm x 28.45mm). The dimensions given in the listing are not correct, and I figured they weren't when I ordered it, since .31'' is too narrow to fit the width of a USB type A plug into.I'm able to get 1.2A (1200mA) out of the 3 'universal' ports, so I'm satisified... the spec sheet that came in the box says they should output only 1.0A (1000mA); I haven't connected a tablet to the 'super charger' ports yet to measure their maximum output... the spec sheet says 2.4A (2400mA) max each for those 2 ports. If the measurements given in the listing were correct I could have given it 5 stars, but customers shouldn't have to buy an item first to find out accurate dimensions.
