Absolutely fantastic.
Lightweight, very sturdy, tall and extremely well made. The interchangeable feet are excellent and the convertible legs to monopods is a great function.Fully disassembly is possible for cleaning. The airhed ballhead is also fantastic quality too. The best feel with amazing knurling.I bought the stilettoz feet too for muddy/rocky situations.

An excellent choice for serious nature, landscape photographers
I own way too many tripods. My search for the perfect one over the years has led to quite a collection. Either they're very light and compact, but not sturdy enough, or they're sturdy but too heavy to be carried into the wilderness. So this tripod is in the Goldilocks zone. It's not the most compact, it's on the upper end of that class. But it's quite light and very sturdy. It is also high enough that you won't need to raise its center column, which adds to its sturdiness. In fact, the first thing I did was remove the center column because it's not needed. I'm 6' and the tripod's height is fine without it. Another good reason for removing the center column is the tripod can go much lower to the ground without it. You can leave it on and remove it in the field, but it takes a couple of extra minutes. Another consideration is its price. Similar products of similar quality from Gitzo or Manfrotto will cost $750 to $1000. So this choice will save you a few bucks. To sum up, the benefits of this tripod are it's lightweight, plenty tall without the center column extended, very sturdy, and it's much less expensive than tripods in the same class from Gitzo or Manfrotto. If you hike with your equipment on your back, need a lightweight but very sturdy tripod to eliminate vibration for long exposures, use professional cameras and lenses and are looking to save some money, then this Tripod is an excellent choice.

Great stuff
Absolutely stable! Probably going to spray a little oil on it though.

It works, it's tall, it takes a little longer to set up & take down
I have been using this for birds-in-flight and similar things, and I'm 5'11, but this is tall enough that I don't have to crouch down when I want to point the camera up. For long days, that's actually pretty important.Other than that, the build quality seems very good, it's reasonably sturdy even when fully extended, and it stores reasonably compactly. I like the included carrying bag, and I like even more that you can fit the tripod in the bag even if you haven't done a perfect job of folding it up.It weighs about the same as other decent tripods I've used, and stows to about the same volume. The only minor irritation is that, compared to my other tripods, this takes a little longer to set up and take down. Because of the way the legs fold and lock, there are a extra couple of steps in unfolding it, and some of the joints are pretty stiff so it simply takes longer to get it done. It's not difficult, but I always need to allow a bit more time.Bottom line: Really good tripod for my use. If I lost mine, I'd likely buy another one.

Very stable
As a retired designer of scientific instruments I was impressed with the thought that went into the design of this tripod. It is well engineered and, being largely of carbon fibre, is lightweight (for its ruggedness) and folds well into a portable carrier bag. This is for landscape photography, to be carried in a car, although not portable enough for a rough-country expedition (but I wasn't expecting that), but quite adequate for an amateur's astronomical telescope or camera where time-exposure without vibration is needed. It suits my 2-Kg, DSLR camera well well. The ball-and-socket head (which can be deteched and replaced by a pan-and-tilt head with a standard 3/8" screw thread) also allows it to be used with 90-degree tilt as a rostrum camera for photo-copying book pages and things which would be difficult in a photo-copier/printer.
