It is such a wonderful addition to our home library.

This book was ideal for my 3 year old granddaughter when she visited us in our “up north” cottage. The illustrations are beautiful. It is a great multigenerational book that can grow as the child grows and encourages talks between parents, grandparents and children.

I cannot love this book more! It is a must have for anyone that has traveled “up north”or for anyone that spent their childhood there.

If you have ever spent any time up North at a cabin, this book is a wonderful way of remembering what that was like. We read it every summer when we are Up North at the Cabin.

Beautiful book that captures the mood and memories of spending time at a cabin “up north.”

I remember this book from when I was little. I had a cabin up north so the words were familiar. It was one I studied when learning about similes and metaphors, too. I recently repurchased as a thank you for a family that invited mine to their cabin for the weekend. They loved it.

This book evoked memories of my time "up north" in Michigan. Memories of care-free summers spent together with parents and family. A good warm, cozy feeling. I bought them for my adult children.
