I use it based on the fact that the pre/probiotic produced by SMARTY PANTS brand works very well for me.

We include Vitamin D3 that is sourced from lanolin derived from sheared sheep's wool (no harm to the sheep!) - and for this reason, our Organics formulas are considered vegetarian and not vegan. You may know that our Probiotic Complete formulas are vegan - and our new PhD Formulas (in a capsule format) are also vegan.
