Really well made boots, size is spot on. Have walked about forty miles in the boots in first week and no rubbing or chaffing to my feet. Insoles are really comfy and fit around ankle and calves is good. Weather has been quite mild and my feet haven't overheated, grip has been good in woodlands and on muddy trails and no problems with water.

I love this brand of boot. I have the short version also. Comfortable. Waterproof and sturdy.

Great well made boot

Immediately notice how much lighter they are than equivalent Hunters. This is because they use neoprene (as in wetsuits) for the uppers around the shin to knee. As less rigid the tops occasionally fold inwards when putting them on. I suspect they’d not stand up to thorns etc around the legs but we will see. Foot slightly narrow but very quickly wore-in nicely and after a few weeks. Oh - they do not have a heel ‘lip’ to hook under a step or door to get them off. I’m worried that the sole may come away without this. A design omission.

The boots do what they are supposed to do, keep your feet and legs warm and dry.
