Fabulous sound
The media could not be loaded. Upgraded from Edifier RB1200RB’S and the sound is immense. Deep base clear mid.Added to an excellent turntable.Bluetooth connection simple and straight forward to pair and again the sound is immense for the size and cost. They really suit the acoustics of the room they’re in. 😍

Excellent Speakers. Great Value For Money.
I bought these because I wanted to “upgrade” from a pair of 1700BT’s. These are very typical of Edifier, which means they offer no-frills sound quality. The build quality of the 2000BD is higher and they are much heavier speakers.Controls are on the back and input is selected by pressing the volume control. Normally you would just leave this set all the time, or use the remote.I am critical of the way the two speakers are connected, it’s done by a single cable, terminated with plugs. Very easy to use, but a pain if you need something longer. In my case the speakers are only four feet apart so the cable is ridiculously long. You can cut the cable and extend or shorten it like any other cable. There is nothing special about it. You need several pieces of normal speaker wire to extend it because it drives the woofer and tweeter separately. This is the same on both the 1700BT and the 2000DB, except the connectors are different, and the cable is much higher quality on the 2000DB’s.The 1700BT’s are good punchy speaker that offers an exciting sound, ideal for games and film. They also are surprisingly good when matched with decent source material. They do, (almost of course ) lack clarity, especially in the bass department. They 2000DB’s have an optical in, which the 17000BT’s do not. Unfortunately, I couldn’t test the optical. Incidentally, the inoput is selectable on the 2000DB, by pressing the volume control. The colour of the led on the front right speaker indicates which input is selected. This is a feature missing from the 1700BT’s.The overall sound of the 2000DB’s is very similar, the balance is a little different, they are a little less bass but it’s more detailed.Overall the 1700BT’s are perfectly good enough for most PC users. The 2000DB add a few extra features, more volume, and a similar but improved sound. To me they are worth the extra money. They are excellent speakers and both sets are bargains.Recommended.

excellent quality and sound
It took me a while to pick these speakers but after spending many hours looking at other speakers and reviews on youtube I decided to give these ago and i'm not disappointed. First of all they look great, not too big and they have a nice weight to them. Iv'e placed the on some 5oo mm speaker stands which are just right as the speakers are angled up slightly. I have connected them to the TV using the Optical lead and also connected a cd radio player using the players headphone socket with the leads supplied with the speakers which is a big bonus. The sound quality is great, I listen to music most of the time and these do the job well, it can take awhile to get the bass and treble to your liking but once your there it's a very pleasant experience and there's plenty of volume for those who like it loud. Also very clear when watching movies. The only gripe I have is the remote control is very small and flimsey but other than that these are a good quality and sounding speaker.
