I like the Go Math series. My older one, who is now in high school used the same series, and now it's his little brother's turn. This is just a practice book; the kids cut them up and bring them home for weekly homework. I got the practice book for 1st graders last year, and it was a big help. There are no lessons here, only activities kids can do. So if you are unfamiliar with models and different methods of calculation, youtube will be your bestfriend.

A book full of exercises for the children to practice. Easily to understand. Learning Math is fun with this book.

This is a great practice book. First of all, all the pages are tearable where kids can work on it one page at a time. Each page has 4-5 questions. Fonts are big and clear. Questions are easy for my second grader to figure out without any help from me. The only thing I don't like is that there are no answers at the end of the book.

I use this book everyday- when my 2nd grade daughter comes from school and it's homework time she opens the book and goes over the same section that she did in school and allows me to help her if she has any questions or just go over what she lear that day in school.
