Not a crate pad. Does not fit flush in the bottom of a crate. Just asking to be chewed up this way. Will be a pain to return since it came in vacuum sealed packing. It expanded fairly quickly believe in 2 hours. She lays on it now.. Our heeler is not one for fluffy beds so guess she will just have a pad. Pretty frustrating that I’m on the search again for a real crate mat🤦🏼‍♀️ Don’t advertise as a crate mat if it doesn’t fit flush.

This gray and star mat is well made, very soft and durable. It is much thicker than I expected based on other reviews. My puppy, who loves to dig, has not made a dent into it. Unfortunately I gave the seller a negative rating because of the sizes. They did not load properly onto my page and I thought I was getting the largest one when I was getting the next down. They delivered promptly and the mat was in perfect condition. Highly recommend!

My dog LOVED this bed. He would put himself to bed at night with this thing, and sometimes chill in there and watch me work instead of curling up on the rug at my feet. I loved it for the ease of keeping it clean and its good looks. But do not buy if your pup is prone to shredding. Mine didn't typically do this, even when we crate him. But a couple of weeks ago, he had a fit because we crated him for about 30 minutes during a contractor visit. He's been without a bed since. He has never been bothered either way whether there was a bed or not in his crate. Now he hardly wants to go in there anymore.

These aren't thick, plush, which is perfect for my dogs (shepherd & lab). I love the 2 diff sides, one for warm weather, one for cooler weather. I have the bed in their crates, fit perfect. I wish there was a pillow around the border, however it's my preference not theirs. I have purchased other beds in the past, I don't like spending a ton in case of accidents. With these beds they are a little more than I like to spend however it seems to be a going rate, plus their bed size is a bit harder to find. I recommend for a basic bed, no frills, nothing special, just a simple bed for my easy-going pups.

I like these crate mats for their looks and the two sided use. Have not needed to wash yet so I can’t comment on that. If you have a dog that digs or has temper tantrums it will not hold up. I have one dog that digs in his when he’s mad! So his is torn and the foam cushion missing some chunks! The other one looks great!
