Groomer loved the fresh smell!
I gave this to my groomer to bath my two dogs. She loved the smell! It worked very effectively with treating my elderly shih tzu's allergic reactions to grooming. He did not itch constantly as he has in the past and his skin does not seem as dry and flaky. The younger shih tzu/mini poodle mix also seemed to be less itchy than she has been in the past.

Best Natural Conditioner for Pet Skin & Fur
The DERMagic Peppermint & Tea Tree Oil Conditioner works like magic to soften my dogs' skin and makes their fur/hair shinny and soft as silk. I plan to use this shampoo and conditioner for my dogs' baths from now on to help prevent skin problems in the future and to keep them looking and feeling beautiful. I highly recommend all the DERMagic products for pet skin problems as I have used them all on my two doggies. They are the best products I've ever used and they really work. The DERMagic Peppermint & Tea Tree Oil Shampoo and Conditioner used together is a winning combination for your pets whether they have skin problems or not. My dogs and I love how fresh and clean it leaves them. Well, they don't like baths at all, but they love how this stuff makes them feel afterwards.

What Happened to the Smell
I used to love this product, it had a fresh peppermint smell, I just purchased a new bottle of shampoo and conditioner and it doesn't seem like I even bathed my dog. I know companies are cutting corners these days to save money could the company not afford the peppermint oil that does inside or did the company I buy it from water down the product

Trying to Stimulate Pomeranian Fur Growth due to Alopecia X Diagnosis
I have ordered both the DERMagic Shampoo and Conditioner for my 3 year Pom who has been diagnosed with alopecia X. Her fur has thinned considerably on her back and her skin is exposed on her back, belly and several patches on her hindquarters . She is and will ALWAYS be my baby and I will love her even if she is bald :-) but I am willing to try any remedy to regrow the beautiful cream coat she had just last year. So her vet, who I trust without question (he was our vet for my two other Poms who have since passed :-( has recommended a weekly shampoo and conditioner for her along with 3 mgs of Melatonin twice daily to stimulate the hair follicles. He did not specifically suggest this DERMagic product however after several positive comments and feedback from others using this product, I have decided I will give both a try.Her 1st shampoo/conditioner was 7/3/2016 and I will continue the weekly regimen and post updates as to her fur regrowth progress (if any). The product itself is not unpleasant in scent and she seemed to enjoy her bath. The shampoo lathers quite nicely and the conditioner is thick and luxurious and lends a nice scent to her fur after rinsing and blow drying. I will revise my ratings as I post updates to her progress...

My DERMagic Experience
Hello all! First of all before I begin my review, I want whoever is reading this to first and foremost know this is MY experience with these products, and every dog’s body, condition and experience will be different. I just wanted to share how it worked for my pup. If you are struggling with this black skin desease or dry skin condition, I highly first recommend you get your dog tested for the following: a blood panel, urinalysis, thyroid testing and adrenal hormone testing. My vet also took some samples of my dogs dry skin to look under a microscope to see if there were any bacteria. I recommend this in order to rule out any other underlying conditions. Based on the results, the veterinarian will recommend treatment. Make sure you do a lot of research before treating your dog. Fortunately for me, all test results came back good and the vet recommended a mousse (which made my dog’s skin dryer and worse). So I took matters into my own hands and did research. I first used the DERMagic Skin Rescue Lotion every day on the BALD SPOTS of my dog and I used the DERMagic Skin Rescue Grooming Spitz on the rest of the body (make sure you spit the hair open so the spray gets onto the dogs skin). After I finished applying I would put on a jump suit and washable diaper on my dog so the product stayed on and wouldn’t rub off while getting on the bed, couches, floor, etc.I used “KOESON Dog Recovery Suit, Dog Onesie” and the diaper was from PetSmart “Top Paw washable diaper.” I would do it every night and in the mornings remove diaper and jumpsuit.Instead of washing my dog once a month I washed her every two weeks. The day before bath, I would cover the dry areas with coconut oil and put on her jumpsuit and diaper for the night. Use extra virgin, organic, cold-pressed unrefined coconut oil.The next day I would wash her using “TropiClean OxyMed Hypo-Allergenic Oatmeal shampoo” then using “DERMagic organic shampoo bar (Peppermint & Tea Tree Oil),” then I would use the “DERMagic Peppermint & Tea Tree Oil Conditioner.”In time her black skin was slowly disappearing and her bald spots was growing back hair. Once she grew out a lot of hair and it looks great, I would just use the spray twice a week and brush her hair out 1-2 times a week. I will continue to wash her twice a month and will be maintaining her coat in great shape. I noticed this condition started as soon as I neglected brushing her hair weekly and now using spray. What also helped was applying salmon oil every day into her diet. I used Zesty Pawls brand.Consistency and patience is key! I’m on month three now of this hard work and it definitely paid off!

Good, would be better if the smell lasted
My groomer recommended this brand of dog shampoo. So far I am not sure the conditioner has made a difference but I think maybe over time it will. The hard part is that my dog throws a fit when you get her head wet, so by using shampoo and conditioner I have to deal with that twice instead of only once. It would be worth it if the great smell of the shampoo and conditioner lasted, but this product doesn't seem to have a lasting scent and my dog doesn't stay fresh-smelling after a bath with this. It works about as well, maybe better than other anti-itch shampoos I have tried on her. I will continue to use it and see if using the conditioner makes a big difference.

Heals and soothes! Terrific product!!
My dog was severely itching for about a month. It was so bad that she would curl up if you touched certain places on her back. I tried other products and nothing seemed to work. I read reviews about this shampoo and conditioner and thought I would give it a try. It really works. Even after just one bath using the shampoo and conditioner, my dogs itching improved so much. Her fur was actually super soft, as well. This has improved her skin greatly. I can't recommend this enough.
