Work like regular bulbs, no strobe brake flashing as advertised. ALLA Fixed it.
Old Review: READ THE UPDATE... buy without hesitation. These LED flashing brake strobe lights simply do not flash in a Ford Pickup Truck. They work just like incandescent 12 v bulbs. The turn signal blinks normally, the parking tail lights come on and high beams but the Brake DOES NOT strobe. Brake lights come on but no strobe. I bought these bulbs... THE NEW VERSION... expressly to get brake lights that flash several times and then go solid. This is crap. I tested the bulbs with other 12 volt sources and they don't strobe as advertised. Warranty is good for NOTHING! [Wrong statement this was not a warranty issue but a customer satisfaction issue... my regretable misuse of words] UPDATE IMPORTANT READ! ALLA comes through! Without provocation, ALLA Company approached me AFTER my Amazon return window had passed for the singular purpose of helping me achieve 100% satisfaction. I have never had this happen with an Amazon vendor... That is worth ten stars to me **********! Completely unexpected. They didn't even want me to change my review. Understand that I am a customer of ALLA and have bought two packages of strobe brake lamps for my Honda Element. I was rear-ended by a reckless texter driving a HUMMER H2. The Hummer leads the world in rear-end fatalities so we got smashed. My Element sustained lots of damage and I too was hurt in the wreck. Honda Elements are tough. Nevertheless, it took me nearly a year to complete the body work and repairs on the Element and I have some photos. I wanted to find a solution to try to never get hit in a rear-end collision again. That is why I want all my vehicles to have strobe brake lights. The Honda Element's ALLA brake lights are perfect so I did not need customer service. But the new lights for my big Ford 350 did not strobe and I was outside the Amazon return window. The bulbs worked just like the old bulbs so I was no worse off but I wanted those strobes. Well, it wasn't to be. ALLA offered to let me try a different bulb with new technology or a full refund. Turns out flashers don't work in all vehicles and all years. I didn't want the company paying postage and all that if the new bulbs were unknown to work. But I would say that this is the best customer service I have ever encountered on Amazon. They showed no hesitation to fix this. They didn't want me to change my review. This wasn't a warranty issue. The bulbs work great. This was a customer satisfaction issue. I have added some pictures of my Honda. One is the rear quarter that was blasted in and it is after the first frame pull. Then you will see the finished quarter wheel well result and my Honda Element, the most beautiful in all the world. With ALLA flashing strobe brake lights. Sometimes you can't get anything to work out in this world. But sometimes you turn disaster into art. This company ALLA went way out of its way to seek my satisfaction. Little did they know that their strobe brake lights are an important safety provision on the most beautiful Honda Element in the world. This Honda saved my life; I saved its life. I hope you never suffer a hit as I took from a texting moron driving a Hummer for the first time. I was stopped at a red light on a clear day, and they clobbered us. I have more cars and I will buy strobe brakes for all of them ... from my friends at ALLA. If your bulbs don't work in your car, let them know and they will take it from there.

One dead bulb- less than a year. 12/12/2023 last month started getting bulb out warning.
Original review- I Ordered the red version, for my break lights, Ordered on October 4th 2022. Delivered few days later, Installed two weeks after delivery. One Bulb is dead. Noticed the dead bulb about two weeks ago. Noticed it was also dying little by little, as the hole bulb has mini lights around it- It’s now July 19 2023. So one bulb lasted less than a year. Such a shame. I really Like Alla Lighting bulbs and have been converting all my vehicle lights to Alla Lighting-even my interior. However, the one that still works, shines nice and bright- no leds dead on that one. (For reference driver side brake light dead- passenger still working) Maybe I will reach out to them, see what they can do, otherwise, I may have to find something different for my brake lights. Kind of sad that one is already a dead bulb. Update- 8/04/2023 Alla reached out to me before I had a chance to reach out to them regarding the dead bulb, I wrote my original review about Two weeks ago (roughly) But a couple days after posting my review, they reached out to me. They asked about the issue I was having (dead bulb) told them about it, and they asked for the shipping address. Less than a week later, I received one new bulb. I am going to update my star rating. They stand by there products, they stand by the warranty of one year. It’s also nice that they reached out to me after I left a review. Shows that they do care about there customers, and there products. Update 12/12/2023- In middle of September, my car started giving me a break bulb out, So last month (October) I “jimmy rigged” my brake pedal while my car was running to see the brake lights. They were all working, so I didn’t think anything of it. But last night I got the warning three times during an hour drive home from work. So I once again Jimmy rigged my brake pedal once I got home. They were both working…. But- then I decided to look closer. Much. Much closer. That’s when I noticed a bunch of the tiny leds are burnt out. Some are flickering; which probably means those ones are dying as well. I wish I looked closer in mid September, I would have noticed some LEDs are dead and some dying. If I noticed it then, I would be covered under warranty. At this point, I got one bulb replaced under warranty. And now another bulb is dying, I wish I payed closer attention to the bulb when I checked it because I would still be under warranty for this one…but that’s not the case now. So with this being said. Having one bulb replaced in under a year and it being covered under warranty it got replaced. Now another bulb is dying/dead in about a year (technically less if you consider when I started getting the warning) but now out of warranty; which means I would have to pay for new bulbs. So in short, these bulbs are flat out amazing, and super bright. They do come in handy where I live, because they are easily seen in thick fog, or snow storms. But, reliability, longevity is not these bulbs. For granite, maybe mine were just a bad batch? Who knows. But from my standpoint, having one already been replaced, and another dying; I personally would avoid these bulbs if using for brake lights. However, I also bought the same brand (Alla Lighting) for my blinkers and reverse light, they also being the SAME exact type/style and they are all working flawlessly. I also have ALLA Lighting bulbs for my dome/map lights (interior) that are still working flawlessly. So maybe I actually did get a bad batch? Anyways, I would avoid the red version, as they are the only ones causing me any issues. I will say this though, if your product fails in the warranty period, they will honor it. That is always very good to see in a company; you don’t see that often.

'06 Xterra. Order a load resistor and these are great.
These are really neat. Bright. Look cool in the light assembly. I have an old 2006 Xterra and sadly they didn't work out despite a load resistor. The load resistor (you'll find 6 or 8 Ohm here on amazon) can be connected to the wires or you can get them preassembled to simply plug in between the bulb and the outlet. It will (or should) prevent hyperflashing of the turn signal or triggering dash warnings in your car. Sylvania has some quality ones which you can order on Amazon. Load resistors do/can get hot so make sure to put so thought into where you can place them (one per rear/turn signal bulb is needed, so two total). You can also consider thermal paste to help with the heat they generate, probably. Most folk probably mount it behind the light assembly on a metal frame. I'm no expert or mechanic etc so take this all with a grain of salt. I may get them again in case these were buggy. But for now the old school bulbs sadly have to do.

Great for thd price!
Bulbs lasted 2.5 years on a semi truck that does 110k miles a year, and a lot of night driving, so im content with the purchase. Just bought my 2nd pair, one gave out on me, dont ever stop selling these please, its hard to find reliable LED bulbs!

NOT PLUG AND PLAY Error messages already. DONT BUY
Update: ALLA reached out to me to offer a refund if I returned these “as new”. And suggested I look at another of their products that was twice the price as these. It was not said outright but the impression was there that this review would have to come down or at least upgraded to reflect better on them. The fact that they put in bold lettering on the description that this is “newly upgraded” tells me they want you to buy this knowing that it probably won’t work as they pointed me to an obscure reference in their listing that says “you may need to spice in” and “some sensitive vehicles may fast flicker” I told them I will eat my money on this purchase and they can eat my review. Hopefully I can stop at least one other person from buying these. Purchased in April for my 2014 Ram with I upgraded my both headlight assembly. Arrived late so I didn’t install until two days ago now September. They are very bright and flash normally outside except they throw errors to the computer saying they are burnt out and the dash flicks fast. After researching you can add a resistor that helps, but shouldn’t that have been implemented in these already?! Anyone who has replaced a bulb in a 2014 ram headlight knows what a pain in the ass it is. You have to remove the whole assembly. Now I have to purchase something else and remove these. And it’s too late to return these. Not worth it. Don’t buy!

Blind as a Bat... But in Red! 🚨🔴
The Alla Lighting Upgraded 3156/3157 Red LED Bulbs bring some serious visibility to your brake lights, stop lights, and turn signals—so bright that even a bat could probably see you stopping from miles away! If you want to make sure other drivers can’t miss your next move, these red LEDs are the upgrade you’ve been looking for. Why these bulbs are a bright idea: Super bright red: These LEDs light up your brake and turn signals like a red alert. They’re crisp, clear, and extremely bright—no more dull or faded lights that barely get noticed on the road. Other drivers will see you coming (and stopping) from a distance. 🔴🚦 Long-lasting LED tech: Not only do these bulbs shine brighter, but they also last longer than your traditional halogen bulbs. You won’t have to worry about swapping them out anytime soon. 💡⌛ Instant on, instant off: With LED technology, these bulbs react immediately when you hit the brakes or flick the signal. That quick response time can make all the difference when it comes to safety on the road. ⚡ But... Might be too bright for some: These LEDs are seriously bright, which is great for safety, but might be a bit much if you're looking for something more subtle. If you’re after a low-profile glow, these might feel like overkill. 🌞😅 Compatibility check needed: Before buying, make sure they’re fully compatible with your vehicle’s setup—LEDs can sometimes cause hyper-flashing in turn signals without the right resistor. 🔧 Bottom line: If you want your tail and brake lights to shine bright red and grab attention on the road, the Alla Lighting 3156/3157 Red LED Bulbs are a fantastic upgrade. Just be prepared for some seriously bold lights that make you impossible to miss! 🚨🔴

Great replacement bulbs!
Super easy replacement. and they're nice and bright. Note that if you're swapping out your stock incandescent LED bulbs, you'll likely need load resistors as well. Otherwise, your turn signals will fast blink. I got my load resistors on Amazon when I first made the shift to LED

This signal lights are awesome
I installed them on my Dodge Grand Caravan from 2013 and I am very happy with the purchase. The lights are very bright and they look cool. You need to install a resistor to not let them flicker. I did not do that yet but I will. What's happening is that is signalling faster than it should be. If that's not bothering you than you are good. But you can fix that if you buy a resistor and install that. Other than that I love how they look in my headlight
