The lotion from Key West Aloe works best on accidental burns though, which was happening when I first started tanning (my fault completely!). But it really took care of the burn. I like the Hempz lotion mainly because the smell is so gooood. It does not have any protection factor, if using outside by itself only about 15 mins depending on your skin type. You can wear it under suntan lotion which has some spf (sun protector factor) 2-4-6-8-15 etc. It accelerates to tanning. **Q: Can this be combined with sunscreen when tanning outdoors?** A: sure, you can use sunscreen. this lotion is both, for indoor and outdoor tanning. **Q: Does the bottle come sealed? In the salon it has a seal over the lid to ensure that it is in fact BRAND NEW.** A: Mine did not. I just received this product and it literally has a single little piece of scotch tape to keep the flip top lid shut, with no factory seal.
