You are aware I suppose that the 601-01 is not made by Hakko & is a fraudulent item correct?

Yes, I bought this iron, and upon noticing it is not the wattage that Hakko advertises, I wrote them and they said this is a counterfeit item, not make by them. they do not make a fx60101. the seller not amazon will do anything about it, since it is beyond the return date.

It's not a Weller it's a Hakko, 23v is Weller brand.Hakko has a temperature controller built into the soldering iron but this is the best iron I have ever used I plan to keep it for a very long time

What is the difference between this iron and fx601-02? what is the warranty? how do i get warranty service if necessary? thank you.

The only difference between these FX601-01 and FX601-02 is the 01 comes with one solder tip and the 02 comes with 2 solder tips you need to change the tip, if your using the iron for stained glass projects you will need to find a 3/16 T19-d5 soldering tip. This the best soldering iron on the market to buy and is worth every penny just using it once you will be convinced it’s comfortable to hold and it melts solder very well don’t get this model confused with FX602 for the iron is used for only electronics

Je l’ai acheté une première fois car je fais du vitrail et il était bien pour ça selon les avis. Il est arrivé et ne fonctionnait pas j’ai essayé avec un convertisseur de tension mais rien donc je l’ai retourné. Je l’ai recommandé en me disant que celui-là avait un soucis mais à nouveau il ne fonctionne pas et le vendeur refuse le remboursement donc 100€ de perdu.

Abbiamo acquistato l'articolo al prezzo di circa €110. Dopo qualche giorno il venditore ha annullato l'ordine senza alcuna spiegazione. Il prezzo è salito a €130. Lo abbiamo ri-acquistato. Arrivato a casa ci siamo accorti che la presa è giapponese e soprattutto il voltaggio è giapponese (100V) pertanto serve anche un trasformatore (altri circa €30, oltre all'adattatore €5). E questo nonostante le caratteristiche riportassero 230V (come da foto allegata). Ora il prezzo è €70! Sembra di essere al mercato. Pochissima serietà.

What a difference!! This soldering iron works amazingly amazing!!! Melts solder, light weight, has a temp dial. I have mine set at 410 for 40/60 solder.
