Didn't work for me
Did not work as described. Does not work. I followed instructions on the bottle and on Youtube video and it did not work. It left my panels just as dirty as before. After I finished, I checked the results thoroughly and it looked the same. This is not a magic bullet like I thought. There is no chemical application that removes dirt by water spray alone.__________________________________________________________Easy method... dry mop.Get a straight ladder and lean it against the roof. climb up near the edge of the roof so you can see the panels, and dry-mop your solar panels! ladder).1. get this type dust mop Genuine Joe GJO54101 Lightweight Dust Mop with Handle, 24" Width and tape extension pole on it..here's one.. Premier 4-Feet to 8-Feet Fiberglass and Aluminum Twist Lock Telescoping Extension Pole 84048 . The extension pole is good to make the handle longer, that way you don't have to climb on the roof. The extension pole is adjustable and extends from 4 feet to 8 feet. To tape the extension pole more securely, saw off the top plastic part.2. So, dust off the solar panels until all the dirt etc. is off... Shaking the dust off the mop periodically. (Careful, don't fall off the ladder). That's it, your done!--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Or this method works really good too... and is now my preferred method...>> Standing on the ground, get a water hose and turn on full blast. You don't need to use a spray nossel attachment, just put your thumb over the end of the hose to create an Arc of water onto the solar panels so the water archs up and 'falls down' onto the solar panels. Do it thoroughly for 5 minutes or so. Give the water a chance to really do it's work. What you are doing here is trying to simulate a heavy tropical rainfall onto the solar panels. I have found this works good and is the most safest because then I don't have to climb on a ladder and all that.just hopefully you have enough water pressure to do it.

My regular nozzle reaches fine.
The spray didn't even come close to reaching the roof mounted panels. My regular nozzle reaches fine.

I am not reassured that it dose the job.

Not quite a clean sweep
I have a 4.2 kw array and I've been using a mild solution of car wash soap and water. This has also required a fairly long brush but it has done a very good job. Powerboost is easy, however you do trade a degree of cleanliness for the ease. Bird dropping that have baked on seem to be very resistive, however, back to the ease. Just spray it on let soak and rinse it off. Ease includes just attaching your hose, turn on the water, move lever on top of the container to on, spray panel enough to thoroughly wet them down, turn lever to off, wait 3 or 4 minutes, turn lever to water and rinse off, turn lever off and you're done. Some may sqeegee and I have not. Now the nasty part-$24.00 for shipping a quart, Sounds like some executive wants a bigger car or house. Oh well, someone else will eventually offer competition and then I will possibly buy this again. $24.00-maybe this is being shipped from China.

Quick and Easy
I live on a dirt road in the mountains and my solar panels take a beating. Between the dust clouds kicked up by cars driving by, the yellow pollen from the pine trees, the bird droppings, pine needles, and the water residue from the rain and snow, I have a hard time keeping them clean. I found PowerBoost, and was really surprised at how easily it cleans the panels! Its not anymore difficult or time consuming than watering my garden. Just attach, spray, and rinse. Its great because it actually prevents the panels from getting as dirty, so I dont have to clean them as often.I just purchased another bottle because we recently had a fire very close by and everything got covered in a layer of smoke.
