3M 9448A Double Coated Tissue Tape (1/4"×55Yds, White)

Had a camera repair and needed to reattach the rubber grips. Tried a different 3M product and some eBay-sourced solutions, but they were mediocre and did not withstand even moderate use. It's a rather slippery rubber grip material to a metal and plastic bond. After some research, found that the factory used a highly spec'd Asian tissue tape. Since that material is not available (at least at a reasonable price), I tried this equivalent. It's very similar to factory specifications and so far so good. I think this is the thing for camera grips from here on, since it has high tack, correct temperature performance and doesn't dry out hard like other suggested solutions. We'll see how it performs when I go to the tropics.

If you need double coated tissue tape, this is a good choice. If you need adhesive foam pads or any other kind of tape, this is a bad choice. Tissue tape is not thick and can be a bit tricky to work with so just go slowly and carefully.It securely adheres to a wide variety of surfaces and has strong adhesion. So far, I have used it on wood, plastics, fabrics, and aluminum with no problem whatsoever.

Use this to line hair bow clips with ribbon.....great hold (after the curing stage) and super easy to use!
