This product is excellent! I’ve used it for sealing seeps along a basement wall which works great. However, this 3# tub either had a leak, or simply too old as fully a ¼ of the product was cured and unusable, see photo. I scooped out enough to finish the job, and did not return the defective tub since what I had got the job done.

top 1 inch hard when I opened it. Received it yesterday afternoon and opened it this am today. after digging the top portion out there wasnt enough to finish my project.

Nearly half the tub was bad. See pictures. Already hard, not a skin either. Very disappointed.

Always a good product

Read the directions (no really, read them). 1. If you are a 70 year old woman, disregard the direction to open the container with a coin. Find a heavy standard screwdriver and pry all around the top a few times before attempting to flip open. Don't worry about damaging the lid - you do not want to try and reseal the container. 2. Only open the container when ready to use (do not give in to curiosity the night before and take a peek.) Even if you replace the lid and foil barrier, you may (I did) end up with an inch solid barrier by the next morning. 3. Use your buck knife to cut an entrance and access the usable paste. 4. Wear gloves-maybe two pair. This stuff becomes one with your skin. If you skip this direction, I found that tea tree oil shampoo mixed with a lot of Clinique make-up remover takes it off-eventually. 5. See 4 above. Dries quickly is an understatement. 6. I needed a water tight barrier around the top of the bathtub, and I accomplished that. 7. I hope the tiling project goes quickly!
