Works great on Linux, but drivers need to be installed to get full advertised speeds
Design is super clean. Feels durable. Doesn’t seem to be getting hot at all. Speed is excellent (900+Mbps up/down). Connection quality seems stable for the few hours I’ve used it. Can confirm it IS compatible with Linux (Ubuntu 24.04), however, for Linux users see the second part of my review.For my Linux users, this thing DOES work directly out of the box. However, you download speeds will be a measley 200/300 Mbps. You need to look in your manual that comes with the device and look for the drivers section. You need to go to the website and download the driver.tar file. Extract the tar file. Then open the readme.txt file and follow the directions to run the make & install commands in the terminal. This will install the drivers you need to get 1Gpbs up/down. Once I installed the drivers and ran a speed test, I went for 200-300Mbps to the mid 900’s up/down. I hope this helps my Linux folks out there.

Very nice adapter! Works very well!
Works perfectly! I needed it for a newer MacBook Pro which no longer has an RJ45 Ethernet connection socket. I was able to to get 1Gb speeds without any issues. The adapter is plug 'n play for both Apple and Windows 11. Good product!

Works with iPhone 15 but only some Android phones
I used this adaptor to test the internet speed coming into my house using my iPhone. Just plug it in and use any internet speed test app. The description should warn that this device will not work well on most Android Phones. Most Android phones are not optimized for high-speed WIRED internet applications.

Simple to use and good value.
Works well and easy to use. When a wired connection is needed this is a great solution. Used with Macbook M2 and M4 Pro, both were good.

Delivers As Promised
I keep this in my tool bag for emergencies. When called upon it functions fine and works with the Windows native drivers. These days it's getting harder to find laptops with a RJ45 ethernet jack and this unit solves that problem. The times I have used it, worked well. Seems well built. Good to have around when security becomes and issue and public wireless connections could be compromised as long as an RJ45 connection is available.
