Solid drain that replaced the original Moen drain in a bathroom sink. I used putty instead of silicone to form a seal in the sink basin. A couple of observations. The two plastic concave washers for ball rod are inserted already where the ball rod cap screws on. They were not floating around as parts in the bag. I only realized this when drain was installed and and the ball rod was not seating correctly. Remove these before you install as it becomes a little more difficult to remove after the drain is in place. All in all this wasn't difficult to install. Definitely use the provided Teflon tape to wrap the threads where the tailpiece screws on to the drain assembly and also on all other threads for good measure. This will save you some aggravation.

Looks very nice. Very easy to install and no plumbers putty needed. Stopper works very well and the strainer basket is a nice addition. I am ver pleased with the item.

Easy to install. Remember to tape and tighten the downspout pipe into the fitting or it will leak. Replaced two and both needed taping and tightening.

The main reason I purchased this is for the gold trim bc my 40 year old one was very tarnished. This one is just plastic and it's not even going to last a few months. Returning.

Although not the least expensive solution, believe this may be the best least expensive drain replacement that is of reasonable quality. The positives are the all metal construction which I think is necessary to achieve a water tight seal under the sink, although be careful not to overtighten which could crack your sink.I'm not a professional plumber so took me awhile to work through how best to install. You will need to purchase some plumber's putty to help seal under the flange. Although this isn't rocket science, there are steps in the installation which I felt were a little tedious (getting the drain screws to engage with the flange, getting the stopper to function properly). Anyone with reasonable mechanical skills can do this. Take your time and be patient. Recommend you search YouTube for videos to guide you.Bottom line, I'm satisfied with the product and would purchase again.

First of all, this is a metal Sink pop up drain. The quality is really decent for the price. All The parts came together, in my case I was looking to change only the pipe since mine started leaking, so I bough this replacement set and end up replacing everything.Installation was a little trick for me (it was my first time DIY plumbing) it took me about 2 hours to replace it without the proper tools.It came with plumber tape as a bonus.The instructions that came with it are easy to follow and pretty much self explanatory.Definitely would look for this product again in the future.
