Really happy with what I purchased!
Value for money is top notch! My live plants grow like crazy and I love the timer options for when I’m not always at home. It fit my ten gallon perfectly and I love the adjustment options. It’s much lighter than my old overhead light and can be moved much easier. My two favorite options are the timer and the night time, gives me room a great ambiance.

A capable light source for a low-tech, low-light 10-gallon tank!
I've just finished setting up my first planted aquarium (10 gallon). I had been searching for a good light source and new I wanted one that had a timer so I didn't have to remember to turn on and shut off everyday. All the YouTube videos and online recommendations veered toward the Finnex Stingray or lights of equivalent price points. Being my first aquarium, I didn't want to get carried away and overspend on every last detail. I decided to roll the dice on this light knowing I could always return it, and I am very glad I did.Physically speaking, the light itself has a very low profile and sits roughly 1" above the rim of the tank (maybe less). It gives off very little heat, and the sliding brackets adjust to the tank smoothly and sits securely. The quality and build are very good, and, to be sure of the reliability, I ran this light at full intensity for a week, 24 hours a day, then another full week on the 24/7 timer without any issues. The light itself at maximum intensity is BRIGHT. The basic features include full spectrum light (with options to change the lighting to a single spectrum/color if so desired), timer features (including a 24/7 setting), and ability to adjust the intensity of the light, if so desired. The spectrum and intensity options are pretty straightforward; you can adjust these to your liking, however I feel it is the timers that require a little more detailed explanation. You have three chief options, simple on/off, 24/7, and personalized custom:The 24/7 feature basically sets the light loose to do its thing automatically. I don't recall the exact times, but roughly around 6-7AM, the light will turn on with a gentle intensity in the orange light spectrum to simulate dawn, then work its way through the day to full spectrum, then culminate in a blue/indigo spectrum in the evening around 8-9PM, until it shuts off for the night around 10-11PM. The one and only CON that I have is the intensity of light CANNOT be adjusted in this setting. When it reaches full daytime, the full spectrum is BRIGHT. If you have low-light plants, it may be too much. The personalized custom timer allows for 3 durations of light, 6H, 10H, and 12H. The plus side to these timers is that it DOES allow for adjustment for light intensity. The drawback is you lose the beauty of the changing light spectrums as this mode only goes between off a gentle ramp up to full spectrum and vice versa. It's kind of a bummer, but not a deal-breaker for me.Setting up the timers is a mild annoyance as the controls work by way of counting your button presses to select the options. For example, to cycle through the various light intensities, color spectrums, or time settings, you have to repeatedly press the buttons to cycle through everything. Not a big deal since you realistically only have to do it once to set up the timers. For those interested, I am currently growing Bacopa Caroliniana, Apongeton Ulvaceus, Amazon Sword, Windelov Java Fern, Cryptocoryn Lutea, Cryptocoryn Wendtii Green, Java Moss, and Susswassertang in this tank and everything is growing very well with this light. All in all, a great little light for those not wanting to pay 2-2.5x the price for a similar "big name" light source.

Doe the job and does it well
This light works well and you are able to dial in the brightness to minimize algae growth and allow a planted aquarium to thrive. The only con is setting up the timer. The 24/7 is too much as there is no way to dim the lighting but the daily timer works but you have to be up early to set it

Great quality as always
Love Hygger brand lights. This works great. Timer functions great, love the different color options. This is my second light from them and I will continue to purchase these for tanks in the future!

Set it and leave it
I just want to start off by saying, I've been very happy with all the products that I have purchased from Hygger. My previous purchase was an aquarium air pump. I have bought plenty of air pumps, and by far it has been the quietest air pump I've have ever purchased. Anyway, back to the lights. I have 2 26w and 1 14w. I use the 2 26w fixtures for my 100-gallon red eared sliders turtle tank and I use the 14w for the 20-gallon basking area for my sliders. I like that you can set it and forget it. I know some people have expressed that the controller is confusing. I would say if you read the directions a couple of times, it would probably make sense to you. Also, some have expressed if you have a power outage you have to reprogram the lights. I can see how that might be a pain. I have not tried yet myself, but maybe consider placing your light fixtures on a UPS. Especially if you have more than 1. If your power outage is shorter than the battery life, you shouldn't need to reset it. I have used more expensive led light fixtures that did not have any of these features. The light quality is beautiful. I really like the 24/7 feature. I like how it simulates the natural light cycle. I feel and hope that my turtles like it and benefit from them as much as I do.Update: WARNING! I have 3 of these lights which I purchased in November of 2021, so I have had them for almost 3 years with no problems. I absolutely love these lights. Please heed the manufacturers warning about not getting the controller wet. Today I was topping off my turtle tank with a couple of buckets of water, and accidentally spilled some water over the back of the tank. I did not realize I got the controller wet. About 15 minutes later my 1 unit was no longer working and I knew right away what I must have done. I can't be upset with the manufacturer, as they clearly have marked on the back of the controller not to get it wet. I love these lights so much that I immediately purchased a new one today. I must say that these lights are so reasonably priced that I would be willing to pay at least $10 more for these lights if it meant they could improve on the controller to make it waterproof. My plans going forward is to purchase a small tube of silicone to close up both side seams and where the wire enters and exits the controller. Very small investment to keep the controller water proof or resistant.

Rea!ly nice
This light has been wonderful. My plants and fish seem to love it. It has been pretty easy to use , the 24hour setting is fun to watch with the lights cycle throughout the day. Great quality for the money spent

Really full spectrum!
Functional and beautiful for my aquarium, and also functional as a grow light for plants! My aquarium is empty as of now so I began using it for my house plants in my kitchen, and they shot up like crazy!
