A Very Nice Upgrade Small Trailer Side Marker Light
I just purchased a pair of these as part of a complete upgrade of trailer lights on my 5'x8' "Carry On" utility trailer. They matched up with the existing single mount hole, just slightly larger than the stock lights, and were easy to splice into the wiring harness using tap splice connectors, which were not included. These tap slice connectors are somewhat hard to find, especially for people who aren't electrical types and don't know they exist. In my opinion the manufacturer should include one one of these connectors with each light. The amber lens snaps onto the plastic base plate and you need to remove the lens to get the wires out for installation. My concern is that the lens might pop out on it's own someday due to heavy vibration or being bumped, plus they are not sealed watertight to protect the electrical circuit inside. I guess time will tell how durable these are. I will say they are nice and bright, much brighter than the original stock side marker lights (when those lights worked at all).

Bright light and an outstanding reflector. Great visibility
I was leery at first, I wasn't sure how the two LEDs would work but I am very pleased. I saw others with more LEDs and while I can't speak on their brightness, I know these do a phenomenal job. My old incandescent bulbs where difficult to see in daylight, not these. These work great on our boat trailer and seem to handle submersion well. They appear to be sealed in a plastic/silicon(?).My only complaint is that they attach in a flemsy manner. The orange cover seems too loose when the black back is bolted to the trailer. I've hit it with my knee during install and it came off. I'd be afraid if it happened too many times it might not snap on. The old Peterson lights I used previously had screws in two corners. Still, I highly recommend these.

Looks like a good replacement for the original non-LED.
To answer some questions that have come up I have attached some photos. This shows exactly what you get. An amber lens with 2 LEDs, a black plastic base, and a hex head bolt with nut and washer. The black wire is power and the white is the ground. Grounding can be done using the hex head bolt or using a separate attachment point to the frame. The electrical inner workings are completely encased in what looks like clear epoxy. This should make it suitable for boat trailers, as long as your power connector does not short to ground. It does not have a watertight seal between the lens and the base as there is a hole on the top and the bottom, allowing water in (and out).I have not installed this yet, but it looks like the hardest part will be getting the old original non- led light (with a rusty stud) off the trailer.Hope this helps.

Bad mounting design. Designed for a open fender rather than an enclosed trailer tongue.
The mounting arrangement on these lights was two holes running vertically down the center. My old lights had the holes on the sides so it didn't fit my application well. They supply a large mounting stud for the center that is used as the ground. I was mounting these to the tongue of my boat trailer which doesn't give me access to the inside of the frame to use the center stud. This light and stud would be more useful on a surface where you have access to the backside of the mounting surface, such as a trailer fender.I had to attach the grounding wire to the back side of one of the mounting screws which prevents the light from sitting completely flush against the trailer frame. Also pay attention to which way the back plate attaches to the light when taking it apart. I mounted one backwards due to not realizing which way they mounted and had to cut my wires and flip it around later.I did get them mounted to my trailer but they don't look good in my opinion due to not sitting flush against the tongue. It's probably a matter of time before they get knocked off. When they do get knocked off, I will be replacing them with another brand. I wouldn't buy these again unless they were getting bolted through a fender.

Nice classy light
Super nice upgrade to our WaveRunner trailer. We just purchased some used skis and the trailer is a wreck. I am upgrading all the lighting and wiring and these look fantastic. I don't know WHAT people are thinking that don't think these are bright enough! They are made to work at night when it is DARK and you don't want to blind other drivers, just let them know you have a trailer behind you which they do PLENTY well. I also like that I don't have to spend extra $$$ on cheesy peal and stick reflectors for the sides. I bought 3 in case one gets broken somewhere down the line.

Good Light
Please don't take this 4 star rating as being negative, I cannot say I love something I have yet to installed or use. Since the trailer came with regular light bulbs I thought the bulb had burned out and this was a good time to upgrade to LED's. Turns out my trailer has a wiring problem. Need to fixed that first. Still have the light and will probably install it sometime in the future. Will edit this review once it's installed.

Good quality, needs better mounting options
Quality lights, that are very bright, much brighter than the bulbed lamps they replaced. Not happy with the mounting options, which is why it was knocked down a star. I used industrial, outdoor double sided tape to adhere them to the trailer tongue, which is how the ones on the trailer were originally mounted. The lens fits loosely, but I am not concerned about them falling off.

Could Be Better
Pros:- It works- LEDCons:- Doesn't seem very sturdy- Difficult to separate lens from base- Lights are part of the lensI bought a pair of these to replace the lower marker lights on my flat trailer, since one of the old ones had a broken base. I was hoping these would have easily replaceable lenses, as they tend to be rock magnets behind my truck, but they don't. My other problem with these is that they have two LEDs per light. They end up being a little bright and glaring in the center, and a little dull on the outer edges. I do not think that these will last long at all, and I will not be buying them again.
