What is the shackle dimension of this "brinks 173-80051 80mm shielded discus lock with resettable combination"?

The Brinks 173-50051 80mm Discus Lock has a shackle width of 3/4" and shackle's clearance height is 1/2"

Security: can one grab and twist mechanism with pliers to break the lock? one review in wally marty site says so. i couldn't, would like to verify!

I must admit I've never tried to defeat my lock with pliers, but I suppose if a large pipe wrench was used to get a good grip on the lock and a cheater bar was added to the handel of the pipe wrench enough twisting force could be generated to defeat this lock. But the same be true for most locks. I call these "what if" questions. Well what if freaking Sputnik came down and smashed the lock?..... It is a reasonably good lock. Not the best but good for the money. I like it because its disc design prohibits most bolt cutter attacts and the combination prohibits LE from illegal entry, at least until they beat the combination out of me. I would buy it again.

Lock size: the product dimensions list 6x3x10 inch. This would be a huge lock at 10 inches. Can anyone give the true dimensions of this Brinks lock?

I can't measure it for you as it is on my storage locker at the moment but in the description it states 80mm which is 3.14 inches which sounds right. Those other dimensions must be a typo. This is a great lock and it fits storage locker hardware perfectly.

Are these the same as the wordlock discus lock that U haul sells? Will it fit a uhaul 10 foot truck?

Similar design, but the Word Locks sold by U-Haul, specifically the X-Large style will fit with no issue.
