Locks like this do not stand up to weathering well, they need constant oiling. Do not use it outside to protect valuables. Use it behind another lockable defence [door etc]. And pay half the price and get slightly better protection with standard disc combi locks. The rotating centre is a gimmick with a fatal design flaw! A thief can simply rotate the mechanism and snap the internals free, so not even requiring bolt cutters. Proof of claim > LockPickingLawyer. Great combination lock. Easy to set up as long as you know how to reset the combination later. Instructions do not tell you. Very hard to open without combination. As with regular locks where they can stick a piece of metal down alongside the shaft and open the lock. Very pleased.

It's a nice, heavy duty lock, and the combination works really well. Use it to lock up my ice fishing shack.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: These are great! Less keys for me to carry. They will require some graphite treatment 1x a year if these are exposed to rain & the elements.
