Good quality
This arrived on time well packaged and works like you would expect. Well made.

Very nice combination of parts. Heavier than I had hoped and tightens slow, but still great.
The combination of rail and two clamps is perfect for my needs (mirrorless on an L-bracket over a fluid head). Adjustment knobs take a bit more turns than other devices (most take 3 half turns, these take 5) but that's a minor issue. Materials are very good. Fit/finish is likewise great. The overall assembly is a bit heavier than I expected, but again, not a big deal. Knobs are nice and large. I would certainly recommend this nodal rail/slide/AS clamp assembly, especially at $32.00.

Great Nodal rail! Works like a charm and is compatible with my RRS ball head.
I bought this nodal rail for 360 interior panos. It works great and fits on my RRS ball head with no problems.

Very nice and worth buying, but has an unfortunate flaw...
This is a very reasonable, low-cost alternative to the pricey Kirk LRP-3 rail that Hudson Henry recommends for balancing long lenses and shooting panos with a fluid head. It also works in a pinch as a macro rail, although it doesn't have geared movement so it's a bit fiddly for that. The construction quality of the Koolehaoda pleasantly surprised me. The materials are very robust and the fit and finish is great. The screw knobs work smoothly, the clamps have a solid grip with no play, and the clamp slides on the rail smoothly. Rotating the clamp works easily and accurately. And the bubble level on my rail is right on the money. In addition, Koolehaoda has corrected two problems reported in earlier reviews. 1) The rail now has safety stop pins to keep the clamp sliding off. 2) The graduated markings on the top and front now line up properly so you get the same distance readings from both sides of the rail. These are really good fixes and show that Koolehaoda is listening and responsive to reviews. On the not-so-great side, the rail is just a tiny bit wider than Arca standard. It's not a problem if you have a screw-on Arca clamp, but the rail may not fit a lever-release Arca clamp unless the clamp's width is adjustable. This seems to be a common problem with inexpensive Chinese "Arca compatible" gear; it's like all the companies share the same slightly-inaccurate Arca specifications.A bigger issue: The sliding clamp is slightly off-center relative to the rail. This means that a long lens mounted by a collar/foot won’t be perfectly centered over the rail. And that will cause parallax error during a pano, which is a real shame since pano is one of the primary use cases for a rail like this. Now, there is workaround for this problem: Put an Arca plate that allows side-to-side positioning adjustment on the long lens' foot. And the included Arca plate does in fact have side-to-side adjustment. But it shouldn't be necessary - they should have just built it right. I'd be more bothered by this flaw if it hadn't been so cheap, but for this price I'll just deduct one star.

es robusto, pero no muy bien acabado
Esperaba mejor calidad del riel , aunque es robusto no esta bien acabado, se siente resistente pero al desplazar el cabezar por el riel no es fuido. sin embargo por el precio es una buena opcion

Caution: No manual is included.
No manual was included and there is no way to get a manual online from this company. This is not acceptable. I chatted with Amazon support and they could not find a nanual. This is a complicated system that requires a different calibration for each camera. It requires adjustment in the field to reduce paralax in stacked panorama photos. If this company only makes the product but doesn't know how it's used them they shouldn't be selling it.

Product improved
I have to give 5 stars here. The rail and fittings are very sturdy and seem well machined for the pricepoint. I read some earlier reviews, and some issues have been addressed on my copy. There are now safety lugs to prevent the mount from sliding off the end, and the rulers on both sides now align. This unit received Feb 9th 2023, cost was 36.99 cad.

Fantastic purchase
As an enthusiastic photographer I have always wanted to venture out doing macro photography and this has been a great addition to my camera gear. It really helps adjusting my camera distance from my subject

Polyvalent
sans doute le rail nodal plus polyvalent de ceux que j'ai pu essayer !réglages multiples, très bonne stabilité, économique, bref tout à fait recommandable !

Improves panorama shots
Quite a well made product. It works perfectly on my tripod so you can slide the camera back from its pivot point and avoid parallax when taking panoramas with close foreground elements (otherwise your stitching software will produce weird effects or blurring in some places).Use with a rotator if you do regular panoramas, especially at night (cause it's hard to see), so you can just click into each angle position. Good solution for panoramas
I used the combination of this nodal rail slide, clamp along with the Koolehaoda Panoramic Tripod Head 360º All-Metal Tripod Ballhead with Indexing Rotator Compatible for Arca Swiss Quick Release Plate to mount my camera to take panoramas that rotate around the lens' nodal point. Only modification from product picture is I disassemble the clamp so the two clamping parts are 90 degrees from each other (as opposed to 180 degrees) to allow for my DSLR to be mounted vertically on its attached L bracket.
