Droll Yankees C-6HB Classic Hb Bird Feeder Red 344581 16oz

Made in the USA to US standards and quality. My flock of hummingbirds have no issues getting a free meal from this feeder. Buy USA products.

All my hummingbird feeders were Droll Yankee except one. Apparently they don't product hbird feeders any more. I found this one on Amazon and ordered it. It's all glass except for the base and feeder part, which is plastic and seems flimsy. We'll see if it lasts. My others are red glass and metal bases.

I tried and returned another brand because there was nothing built in to keep the pressure in the bottle from constantly pushing the nectar out in a drip or stream. This one, the bottle twists into a plastic piece that regulates the flow of nectar. So the base is never full, meaning that bees can’t get to it either. Only the hummers. And they love it. Another customer in a store saw me looking at feeders and recommended this brand. So glad she did!

The hummers didn’t seem to like the feeder, but the bees were ALL OVER IT. The jokes are too big and the bees were able to access the nectar. It was just awful.

I like the ease of cleaning and it holds a decent amount during busy summers.First feeder arrived with a missing part so I returned it and got a replacement.

I like being able to run this through the dishwasher so I know it totally safe for the birds. The only thing it needs is an ant moat at the top.

I've this one up and 3 other brands and the birds prefer the Yankee feeder. They don't even go to the other feeders. I switched them all up, I thought perhaps they liked the location better. But, no, it's the feeder they like.The bottom of this does not nearly fill up, you can see a big gap between the sugar water and the top of the container. It doesn’t seem like the little tiny beaks would be long enough for this but the hummingbirds like it. They know better than me.
