Loved these at first, but I don’t know what’s happened to them. They used to block out all the light and after a few months of owning them, now they let all the light in. It’s been driving me absolutely crazy. The attached picture shows how much light they let it now even with blinds fully closed. They’re great at first, but they don’t hold up. Don’t even understand how, but they’ve definitely changed.I originally bought these curtains because my neighbor has a tendency to let his brand new vehicle idle in his driveway with his brand new LED headlights shining directly in my bedroom window at weird hours. I’ve only had these curtains for a couple days now but i’m SOLD. Last night, I woke in the middle of the night to some shouting outside, peeled back the curtains to find his house on fire and 4 fire trucks lining my street. Couldn’t see the flashing lights through these curtains. Truly incredible blackout curtains- I’d dare say the best you can buy. (His family made it out safely in case you were invested in that part)

Love these, will be buying more for other rooms in the house.

These probably can't be considered true black out curtains, hence the 4 star rating. But for me, they block out plenty of light from my west facing windows during the day and certainly during the night. The pictures are from 2:30 this afternoon, so you can see how much light they block out.

These are soooooooo beautiful! They have a really luxurious feel to them, thick and silky. I bought these because I live in an apartment & for the last few years, we have baked in my living room because 2 of our windows face the western afternoon sun. I live in Las Vegas & for about 8 months or so, its just HOT with that sun sitting there, baking away. It's not hot (YET) and I swore this year, I would buy curtains to block out the sun. I had been tacking up blankets (so not classy and really sort of embarrassing when people come over) that I am sure kept a little of the heat out, but were not black out curtains. So I can not say if it makes a big difference as to the temperature inside, but I think they HAVE to do better than the blankets were. I opened up the package, everything looks great. I actually put on OVER my head to see if I could see any light through them. And it was PITCH BLACK!!! I am so very excited. I need curtain rods and then I can put them up. I actually put one up with tacks for a day or two so I could see if just being aired out would help with the creases from packaging. I will probably just put them in the dryer for 3 or 5 minutes and see if the heat will help. There is a SLIGHT odor to them, nothing that bothers me since these wont be where we sit, but I bet a fabric softener sheet or some Febreeze would clear that issue right up. There are some people who are highly sensitive to smell, so I just wanted to say there is a hint of some. I have to say, I was really debating for about 3 days on ordering these, because of the lack of reviews. I really like to do my homework & find the best products when I buy online. These were a little more than I wanted to spend, but they are truly worth it. Got them in 2 days with Amazon Prime and free shipping. I didn't want plain curtains. Just so boring to me. And I am female, but not a girly girl so I didn't want flowers. These are classy, pretty, feel rich and what you would find in really nice hotels. I got black, and the silver reflects the light in the room so nicely. It helps draw attention to them and just makes it almost sparkle. So, please don't let the small amount of reviews make you double guess about ordering these. Maybe these are just not the design a lot of people want. It looks like metallic paint has been thrown on these in a pretty way. I got the 86 inch long ones so I can make sure to go over the blinds that are already installed in our apartment. They have a bit of a overhang in front of them. So I wanted to make sure I had long enough curtains to go above that, and not come up short at the bottom since I really am trying to block out the sun and heat. Going down close to the carpet adds a nice classy touch (I think) as most places, if they provide you with curtains, mostly are only as long as the window itself. Adding length will make my window where nothing really is, look more a part of my apartment. We do have the blinds, so for now I don't need anything behind it for when I want to open the curtains & still have privacy, but they would look great with another type of curtain behind them to add more decoration if you wanted. Like shear or gray or silver would compliment these so nicely. With all that said, hurry!! Don't wait, get these while they are still in stock!! I wanted to leave a decent review so people may actually order these instead of passing them up because hardly anything has been said about these. Happy decorating!

I bought these curtains to see if I could close off a part of my condo into a more private area for guests. Hopefully the pictures show what I did. In the first picture the curtains are closed, (obviously). The middle picture shows the rooms that are behind the curtain, a full bath and guestroom. Since I put the curtain there it gives a guest 100% privacy.The last picture is how they look open. I was going to take them down and only put them up when I had guests, but I love the look so much I am keeping them up all the time.Love them and would highly recommend. The material is lovely and the design is perfect for what I want.

These curtains are gorgeous! They are the perfect color for my room, and they are great quality. The material is really thick with a good print, and they do a good job at keeping the light out (I'm using them more for sound-reducing than I am as blackout curtains so can't speak to how effective they are at that as much).

These curtains are so amazing. They block light perfectly for my infant to be able to nap without a bunch of light coming into the room—they are very modern and make my room look very classy—and they are SO SOFT AND SMOOTH—and are heavier than regular curtains. I really enjoyed how they had zero wrinkles even though they came folded together in the package—so they smoothed out perfectly from the jump. They are absolutely amazing and I definitely recommend these to everyone!

I've been looking for new curtain panels for several months. Finding shorter-length panels, with an interesting pattern, or fabric, was difficult. I never considered a shiny foil pattern, let alone GOLD foil, but the pictures looked so pretty. I bought 2 sets (windows are side-by-side) and they were delivered quickly (I LOVE Amazon!). I tumbled them in the dryer with a damp towel for about 15 mins to remove the creases. They are BEAUTIFUL! Exceeded my expectations of how new curtains would spiff up the room. The gold foil adds just a splash of color, against the gray fabric. My existing gold tone rods/hardware look fab (bonus!) and I found throw pillows with gold accents, which tied the whole look together. The panels look and feel like quality fabric, even though their cost was so affordable.Highly recommend!!
