Bluey: Season 1: The First Half... (Episodes 1-26)

My wife and I swore up and down that we would never be the parents that let the kids sit in front of the television all day… Swore is past tense, that ship has sailed. Now that the twins are toddlers who absolutely do everything that they can to terrorize their mother, we need a tool to distract them just long enough for their mom to hide in the pantry and eat a few bites of food a day.The twins tend to disagree on nearly everything; from what will be an acceptable snack or meal, to what television show needs to be on in the background while they maniacally plot their next attack on their mother… But Bluey is different. For some reason, both of them are interested in watching Bluey and Bingo’s shenanigans.In conclusion, I would recommend Bluey to every parent!

The media could not be loaded. I was very concerned due to the many reviews about the color distortion, but I was willing to take the risk for my kids newest infatuation. Came in a professional case, the disc in new condition. We have watched nothing else since its arrival - no distortion on this disc. There is an unexpected title menu to play, but it works fine and also has the disc menu. Quality might be hit or miss? I ordered the other half from same seller so we will see! I hit skip and created a pop up from hitting buttons in video, everything else the disc just does.

Unlike most children shows, this one is actually entertaining for us as parents as well. It is delightfully wholesome with silly stories and cute lessons. It displays excellent examples of imaginative play.Episodes range from 5 to 7 minutes long making it easy to let them watch x amount of episodes before a specified time (i.e. one more episode then we go to bed).We actually have this in our van for longer drives. With the short episodes it keeps their attention as the story changes. The music is fun and catchy and hasn't driven me crazy yet.Highly recommend to have. Even our 6 (almost 7) year old finds it hilarious. He will even request specific episodes.

Bluey is great. It's about the everyday life of a family (of dogs), with two sisters and a mom and dad. It's set in Australia, so there's the fun accent that your kids will likely pick up. My kids love it and will watch it all day if I let them. Know that the parents in this show are VERY involved in the kids playtime. It's awesome, but your kids may expect you to play with them like Bluey's parents. Not easy to do if you're trying to let them watch tv so you can do daily chores. Shawn the hand emu is our new family pet thanks to Bluey. Probably the best kids show out there though. No issues with the DVD or shipping. All around good family fun.

Our family LOVES Bluey!! I cannot wait to get the rest of the first season and the second season! This truly is the BEST cartoon for kids. I love how family oriented this cartoon is and it is funny!I read other reviews about the quality of the DVD but still purchased. Yes, it is not the greatest quality but it’s a DVD not blue ray or HD quality but the quality is just fine. I feel what’s more important is how much my kids love Bluey and the fact that I can pop in the DVD and entertain them for a bit.

Kids absolutely love Bluey! We were going through much data every month so that the kids could stream it via Roku. When we heard the rumors that the cancel culture was trying to cancel Bluey we immediately bought it on DVD. Keep your dang hands off of shows so simple and pure! All the episodes feature wonderful games, play, imagination, and family time. We love Bluey!

This is a wonderful dvd season. I'm going to buy the season one: the second half for my 7 year old's birthday. I really like this season as a parent. I have even watch this dvd every time my daughter does. I feel like Bluey is a very good educational program. This dvd consists of 26 episodes (182 minutes) all on one disc.

Our family absolutely adores Bluey, including the adults(we just named our new puppy Bluey). Our WiFi isn’t great because we live in the sticks so Disney Plus isn’t always dependable, I was desperate to find Bluey on DVD. When I came across this DVD, I was thrilled but weary because of some of the reviews. But both, first half and second half of season1, are PERFECT! We couldn’t be happier!
