PulltexPulltap's Corkscrew (Genuine) 5100

These are marketed as genuine Pulltap's corkscrews, however they aren't even comparable. I work in the restaurant industry, and open many bottles of wine every day. On day one, the worm of the corkscrew bent. And within only a few weeks of use, the worm actually SPLIT IN HALF while opening the bottle (see photo). I have never experienced anything like that in all of my year's of service. Other notes: corks actually break off in the neck of the bottle, and the Pulltap's logo isn't even inscribed on the fulcrum. I purchased four of these just over a month ago, and they're all wrecked already.

OMG---My daughter had bought one for me for Christmas, but it was lost in all the wrapping paper. She insisted that I order another. Since I don't drink anything but milk and wine, I knew I needed a really easy-to-use corkscres (and not one of those fancy-schmancy rabbits or other animals). I received my Pulltaps Corkscrew last week and I was blown away at the first use. In my opinion, besides the aesthetics, the double-hinged pull is the best thing about it. I opened two bottles as a pro! The longer "arm" was useful, too. My friends couldn't believe it was me who had opened the bottles in split seconds.

Before I purchased this corkscrew, I watched a YouTube video ([...]) that perfectly demonstrated how to use this type of corkscrew. It looked so simple, that I chose this product because it matched the corkscrew in the video. My experience with the corkscrew matched the video. The product is very well made and easy to operate. The only downside for me is the knife for cutting the foil.
